if you have problem with low storage you can enable Android 6.0 adopted storage but it's not enable default. you have to enable it manually !!! just by search the internet you can find manual instructions

the main camera program is so bad . use Google camera previous versions and finally camera will really better .

I bought this phone 2 days back..its internal is 8gb which is 5gb pre-occupied by system you get to use only 3gb..camera is also not that good..I waisted my money..if you wana spend this much, try samsung or huawei instead

If you have the money for this phone on hand, just buy a Chinese knockoff. It will cost you less for a better phone if you do a bit of research.
Right, onto the phone.
Pros - The screen is pretty damn great, very responsive and quick, decent selfie camera for the price (but could be better). The SoC used in this device is good, with plenty of grunt for any games you might want to play.
Neutral - 1.5GB of RAM, okay for the price but a Chinese brand would have more. Dual sim card variants, which is helpful for people who don't want to carry 2 handsets (mine is only single card though. Have to carry around my old brick as well).
Cons - The camera is absolute GARBAGE. My Prestigio 4322 takes better pictures than this thing, and that phone is 4 years old and cost LESS when it was new. The memory - LG has done something borderline retarded (and I don't use that word lightly) by blocking the ability to merge SD and internal storage. I get planned obsolescence, but this is just idiotic. You have access to ~2GB of storage on the 8GB model - this would be considered good, if it was 2006. Now, you download Skype and a game and you're out of memory. There is a way around this, but it took me a whole day to do it, and I am well above the "average" for computer savvy-ness (Not meant to brag, meant to show how much of a hassle it would be for most people). The solution is the one used on Samsung phones (as they went this route as well), and can be found with a quick google search on how to merge SD and internal memory for Samsung phones.
Overall - It's not a bad phone, but if you don't care about "brand recognition" (as it should be), then you should just get a Chinese brand phone for around the same money. The camera is a total deal-breaker for me (too late now, already signed the contract. I should have checked first, but how was I supposed to expect such a horrible camera in a phone from 2016?).

Horrible horrible camera. I thought since i havent shoped for a phone in 5 years cameras are all decent. My 3 dollar chinese website webcam takes better pictures. Not to mention my 6 year old sony xperia. I am very dizzapointed. I would return the phone nbut i dont think i have a good basis for refund.

LG K8 should get Nougat update too, according to rumors but LG haven't said anything officially yet.

Then, just a couple of weeks ago, the back light went out. Screen was completely Black. But no warranty anymore and not Upgrade time. I have always loved LG. However, knew I had to get inexpensive phone. Got the Samsung Galaxy J3V. I could not be happier. It does everything my G3 did with a few exceptions. This Samsung J3V was definitely the way to go.

However this is a non removable option, as if removed your phone may not work correctly. Keep that in mind.

I like the phone - display, quite quick moving between features, etc. The enormous let down is the pitiful 8GB memory which is not enough to support its own updates. I have Facebook, messenger and Twitter - FB and Messenger are moved over to SD card with all photos and videos - so only Twitter along with original features of phone, with 7.2..something left. I have had to delete google apps to free up some space, just so that the phone is able to do what it should do. Not fit for purpose sadly.

This phone is the biggest piece of shit i have ever owned. Every time i switch from from data to Wifi i have to pull the battery out and restart the phone. Its not even a month old yet. Dont buy this phone its total junk. Having many more issues eith it as welk

Yes its a real phone for some one going for a low budget. As a Samsung, Sony high end user, for a change this phone does all the basics one needed from a high end Phone. Sick on software updates and repair costs if needed, just use this and throw.

Now i am thinking to buy LG G3 or G4 or V10. LG K8 is the best budgeted phone and all features are awesome. Even touch is very smooth and no lags. This is the first time in my life that I bought LG Mobile and really highly satisfied.
