After a year or so of painful usage, this phone ended up collecting dust, camera glass got scratched up so badly that it can't take decent photos anymore, even after reflash to stock 7.0 it is still slow and it is a snapdragon version, headphone jack was dead after only 2-3 months, no wonder they killed off their mobile section, LG, I liked your phones as they had unique features like tap to unlock, and actually decent camera ( sloooooow as snail to focus or take a picture)

this trash phone cant even launch settings app. And cant even answer calls sometimes.. A snail could travel around the world faster than this thing booting up... this is the worst phones in the planet

this phone is so trash the laggiest phone I've ever had don't waste your money on it there are better budget phones out there.

I actually really like the phone. It was my first phone and now 3 years later, I'm still using it and it's as good as it was when I first bought it.

Pls DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE.. it's worse than garbage. Slow as hell . Cant even browse the web properly. One of the worst phones on the planet

Ive had the phone since december 2017 with 16gb. the phone still works perfectly with 720p 55FPS and i reccomend this as a starter phone for a kid

had the phone since 2017. got it new and works fine, but YouTube and other media can only be watched at 480p without lag. 720p doesn't work too well.

Im still with this phone since 2017. The only con I can point out is that a case is a must have otherwise the camera gets scratched from all the surfases it stays on and the pictures become really foggy. No lag when typing, browsing, etc.

Cleverdanyal22, 21 Nov 2019It says only up to 32gb but i got a 128gb card in mineYes, I can confirm that a 128GB card will work as I've just installed one in mine 2 weeks ago without even knowing about its allowable limitation & took out the 32GB which is now placed in my tablet.
I mainly use my phone as a DAP for music with about 6 different APPS which I've been testing & using for a while now. It's been 2.5 yrs now & the only change is a noticeable screen burn of the recharging battery in the center of the screen when a pale/white colored background shows up... if not, it's not in the way most of the time when your using other normal colored backgrounds, internet, or APPS.

I use LG K8 (2017) Dual Sim X240K (i live in Indonesia),
after 1 year, my impression about this phone is
Pros:
- Great design, elegant, love the rounded edge glass
- Good for light everyday use (good for people that not use lot of apps)
- Double tap to wake is great, very useful
- Both rear and front camera is bright and good on minimal light
Cons:
- No NFC
- Main camera cant focus on close object (if you take a picture of a document, the content is blur and unreadable)
- Charger have small output, only 0,85 A, takes a lot of time to charge.
- Stuck at Marshmallow 6.0 (Yes, no Nougat update for LG K8 2017 in Indonesia)
It seems there is 2 kind of LG 2018 (2017) on the market.
the one with 3,5mm jack port on top, and one with 3.5mm jack port on the bottom,
be careful when buy a softcase or accessories.
(LG K8 2017 Dual Sim X240K model is the one with 3,5mm jack port on top)

this phone is a disgrace . i changed it with a alcatel and this alcatel is better
