I love how it looks but it has definitely a really poor performance. You sure you have this 2017 version?

the phone is laggy and slow with apps like Instagram and Snapchat and the camera is terrible

Camera has terribly slow auto-focus, quite often it takes 2-5 seconds from pressing the trigger to actually take the photo because it is trying to focus the image and after it takes the photo...it is still out of focus...frustrating really, headphone jack went out after 2 months of usage, I thought it is me, but my girlfriends K10 (that was bought at the same time) also suffers the same issues so it seems to be an LG thing...terribly slow phone overall sometimes...

I normally have Galaxy's but this one looked good second hand for £95 so I gave it a shot. Had it for 3 days now and it does everything I've asked it to do so far. Screen quality is good, camera is brilliant and it runs all my apps and games quickly with no freezing or crashing. It is missing a couple of things like a gyroscope n stuff but that's only a small thing compared to the things it can do. Sorry to hear you're not liking yours, seems you'd probly be better off with a Galaxy S5 or newer although from what I've seen second hand models are still pretty pricey coz Galaxy's tend to age well due to all the tech they cram into them. Basically if you're on a budget and want a phone that looks good, is easy to use and has most of the things that the more upmarket phones have then the LG K8 isn't a bad buy. Look on the bright side, at least it's not an Alcatel 😂

I;ve had it for 4 months and it is very slow and laggy..
Better as a replacement or for an old person that wont use a lot of apps.
the design and camera are good tho
