If you are familiar with touch screen phone. (responsiveness not as good as Iphone).
If you are ok with non-OS phone.
Then this phone should be good for u.

Is Renoir really that bad???I am not intending to change my phone for some time after buying a great one and I am really considering this phone. My impression of this phone was quite good intially, but after reading the opinions of user here, I am really having second thoughts about getting renoir... So can anyone please advise me?? Renoir or not??

Why do you think it takes so long to do so?
In the preview, only the surface of the phone is ok but when looking deep into the phone.

The Innov8 Battery life actually not that bad.
After i turn off the WLAN auto scan and switch to power save mode, it can actually last for 3 full days which is as good as C905 if not better.
A best 8mp slider symbian indeed.
However, since i am in Renoir thread. I must say that i miss my Renoir so much. If the speaker didn't burst after the second day, it will still be with me now.
I think it is just one of a million. Its still a very good phone. And i think it is still the cheapest 8mp phone in the market thus far.

it says it works on UMTS 850/1900! does that mean i can use it on AT&T's 3G network for the U.S.? (if anyone knows, please help me out)

dDoes anyone know how to set up an internet profile on this thing because i could get on the wi-fi and do web browsing but i cannot watch the youtube video? everytime i click on watch video a messege came up saying that "there is no internet profile exiting". I had another renoir before and it worked just fine with watching youtube, but this one that i just ordered from singapore is not the same.

i had the Viewty b4 the Renior. I loved the Viewty. and love the Renoir even more. It is not much different from the Viewty. Though i like the fact it has Wifi on the Renior too. I dont use much of other functions like emails etc. thus smart phones are not my thing. I like a phone with good camera, 3.5G and wifi. Thats why i like the Renior so much.
However, launching some applications, sometimes there could be a lag. like a sec or two. for example pressing the shortcut button to launch your short cuts.
other than that, everything is working well and good and i m loving the phone!

I'm definitely thinking of getting this phone. it's cheaper amongst the other 8 mp phones and the touch screen is pretty awesome. NOW i do have one concern.. i do use MSN on my phone a lot and.. i'm just wondering..how does the qwerty touchpad work. when i'm in a java msn program? much appreciation for anyone who can help.. thanks

But if you do that the application will still run in the background and not off. Thus it will still consume the memory. I did that before and when i try to run other application such as camera or video shooting, it give me some message like memory over use, cannot run problem. My advise is, turn off or exit any program manually instead of pressing the red hangup button.
