Yucks!! Children will like it.
This is a BIG STEP BACK seeing the design of LG in Prada and Viewty.
And the 8MP i guess is a fake.
Should be using the extrapolate technology.
The only good thing about it is Wifi and the Dolby Mobile

Would you lg experts say this was an updated viewty with more going on??? This fone uses java so i can use some apps but some ideas are flying round that widgets are used by lg that can expand the apps ,,just interested at moment but its a bit ugly but spec is bang up to date..
My opinion on koreans is that they go above the usual ,,lets say samsung d900 has vivid messaging no other company thought of that plus viewty,never mind good video recording lets go beyond that with slow motion video..so the koreans think outside the box bringing fresh new ideas,,if you get nokia you just get the same thing all the time,,ok,, they may up the cam to 5mp but so is everybody else they dont invent something off the planet..I reckon it will be a korean fone first on uk markets with laser projector mobile,thanx

Looking forward to the release of this as I currently have the Viewty and although my battery life is terrible, I love the features of the handset! Camera is amazing - best quality on a phone IMO and it's actually touch screen instead of heat sensitive which is the first thing that sold it to me over the iPhone.
Is the renoir touch or heat? I can only presume touch but it doesn't specify.
The only thing that concerns me is the teething issues that I had with the Viewty. I had to exchange it a couple of times due to it turning off on its own and issues with the data cable but then what phone starts off perfect?
Fingers crossed I'll get them in my shop on the launch day! :)

it seems that LG Renoir is one up on Samsung's new 8MP touch.. at least LG Renoir has WiFi..

Looks like it's made very badly, using some crappy easy to break cheap plastic. The whole thing scream of CHEAPNESS. It only reminds me of all the Korean "quality" - eg. Kia LOL!

This is ONE UGLY PHONE. Jesus, this is ONE GIANT STEP BACKWARD for LG to release this phone when the original Viewty and Prada looks fabulous.

Finally! A phone that appears to have it all. Tbh, I dont really care what the battery life is like. 90% of all phones have a way to optimize battery life like dimming the screen, disabling 3G, backlight timing, etc. All-in-all, this looks promising. 3G, WiFi, divx, Flash UI, great camera that doesnt appear to be interpolated to 8pix but the real deal, and so much more. Cant wait!
