I've had this phone for about 3 weeks, only con is it not having a touch screen qwerty keyboard, what's up with that? I'll probably sell it when the iphone comes out for that reason only.

Ive had this phone for 4 days now.It certainly gets attention because of its looks. However, using it is very frustrating.Contacts are VERY hard to select using the touch scroll, often selecting someone else! If you want to make a simple call, then you have to unlock the phone on the side first, select keypad mode, then enter number.Texting is a similar nightmare.Selecting a letter, and hoping that it types what you want.Repeatingly, going back over what you want it to read.It will only take MP3 format,no ACC and you have to load each track on to the phone first, then move to your memory card, otherwise it thinks the tracks dont exist. The sound from the loudspeaker is very poor (same as LG shine)and even with vibrate on,is difficult to hear in your pocket. The mp3 player has NO equalizer - just set at 'normal' and played through quality aftermarket earphones,is at best 'tinny and distorted at medium volume' To be honest, its different, but now i wish i had gone for the Motorola ROKR E6.More practical and user friendly, plus it has a dedicated MP3 player with equalizer and 3.5mm headphone jack + its cheaper!!

Hi I have a question about ringtones on the LG Prada. I am using an MP3 format song as my ringtone but it only plays for about 20 secs before cutting off. Does anybody know if it is possible to extend this and make my phone ring for longer? Thanks.

Amazing phone. Let's be honest... Prada and LG have blatently seized upon the Iphone idea... but with such style. Easy to use... texting as quick as any other phone... responsive, great camera and camera utilities, and above all, extremely good looking!

If anyone in the UK is interested in the Invisible Shield for the Prada you can buy them from Amazon for £7.99
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Shieldzone-Scratchproof-Invisible-shield-protection/dp/B000QTKI98/ref=sr_1_1/026-3687648-4599663?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1179476346&sr=1-1
I have read some very good reviews about them, once applied you can't see it (it's all in the name!) And you can keep the phone in your pocket with your keys and not get a mark on it! So you can finally ditch the silly Prada pouch! I just ordered mine.

I swapped my samsung P300 for the Prada and I'm very pleased with it so far.
1. i'm on O2 but reception and call quality have been fantastic so far, no problems.
2. I find the ring volume to be very loud, I have mine on the lowest setting and find that loud enough. Vibrate is strong, even when in the case.
3. I've had the phone for 2 months now and haven't had any crashes or freezes yet, it's been very reliable. The operating software is not quiet as fast as a Samsung but not bad, it's certainly not slow.
4. It is very easy to scratch, just don't put it in the same pocket as your keys, or keep it in the case and you will be fine.
Texting does take some getting used to but I'm now texting just as fast as I would with a normal keypad now.
hope that helps!

Come on people. Can anyone tell me whether I should buy this thing or not.Love the looks but want to know -
1. How is reception and call quality in general (I'm on orange).
2. Heard a few comments on ring volume being slightly low. Is this the case and do MP3 tones sound any louder?. If not is vibra alert enough to compensate.
3.Any major bugs , crashes , freezes of any kind. I currently have a Samsung and hope to get the same reliability.
4. How scratch prone is it if you are careful (I am reasonably so)
Thanks

does it come with prada pouch or other accessories? if not i seriouslly think its not worth the money at all. its so expensive here in Singapore, almost S$1300 or abt EU$645, without contract...hold man, it'll sure drop well below S$600 in a few months...look at the specs, it's not even 'smart' at all!!!!
