Going out the buy this phone today hope its good got a demo of it in shop yesterday seems a good phone hope its better than the chocolate though :)

im on contract with orange and pay £20 a month im due an upgrade of which any fone i like but i like the prada fone but orange say samsung u600 is beter i would go for the prada but have 2 pay £100 is it worth it please sum1 wb

suggestion to one of the questions. If you can wait longer. If you can switch to a different service, just get the iPhone.
there are so many problems with the interface which I want to say "incovenient" and "problematic" that I just don't think this phone is worth its price tag.

to have zoom when taking a picture you must low the resolution down. tried it in 320x240 and you ll see the zoom icon on the top right of the screen.

it really works.
the specifications say "Capacitive touchscreen" - a capacitive touchscreen is coated with a material that stores electrical charges. When the panel is touched, a small amount of charge is drawn to the point of contact. Circuits located at each corner of the panel measure the charge and send the information to the controller for processing. Capacitive touch screen panels must be touched with a finger unlike resistive and surface wave panels that can use fingers and stylus. Capacitive touch screens are not affected by outside elements and have high clarity.

Ok, so I've had this phone for about 3 weeks now and decided to change it.
THE BAD POINTS:
It's a sexy looking phone, don't get me wrong, but the features are prety basic, it's the sort of phone I would sell my mother because of it's simplicity.
Basic MP3 player, you can't sort your MP3's into proper playlists and store them under seperate albums. They are all mixed together in one long list.
The puny loud speaker quality is poor beyond doubt when playing MP3's or talking on the phone.
WHY WHY WHY can't the phone just ring properly, when someone phones you, it is always set to an ascending ring tone meaning
when the phone rings, it is too low to hear, unless you are in a quiet room.
By the time you do hear it, the caller has hung up!!!
Playing MP3's through the Loud speaker results in distortion and crackling.
Certain setting such as the alarm clock tone
will reset after time unless you set the alarm via the menus rather than using the on screen clock which is quicker.
Another bad point is that you can't see the damn display out in the sun!!!
So don't even think about texting unless you are indoors, at night or when it's cloudy.
Why did I get rid of my N75 Music Edition for this.
I'll be getting the N95 soon and selling this one.

I have had the phone for a week now and i think its great, had a w810i before that and it has a lot of the same features apart from ability to set mp3s as message tones. One thing I cant understand though is when taking a pic i cant zoom in/out although it will let me when taking a video... any suggestions?

on the lg prada there is a space for adding a hand strap... below this area is some sort of button.... what is it.... i cant seem to press it???

i just love this phone work in a phone shop and just took d900 gonna take 2nd contract is the u600 better than prada... had a play round with both help make my mind up guys?!
