can anyone tell me if you can turn off the assending ring tone, as in when the phone rings it starts off VERY VERY quiet then gets louder, by the time i can hear it (cant hear it in the case provided!) the person hangs up!!! please somebody help me on this, doing my head in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Got this phone 3 days ago. Sexiest Phone I have ever had. Touch screen tech. is certainly perfected here, and works very well. SMS is simple and works just like using a key pad. Certainly worth the money, as in this day and age we look for form factor , not that its features are anything to laugh about. Good and easy to use features. N95 and other such phone junkies, please leave this page. I am tired of u guys comparing apples with oranges. Real dumbos.

The question is that: is there any way to mute the sound of the phone when you take a picture?

About the "On Off Sound" for the phone. You can mute the sound the phone makes when switched on and off by selecting the option in PROFILES. Is this what you mean? It's a bit of a long winded process if you want to set it to be off for every profile, but I think it is the only way. Althhough, I have only had the phone for a little over a week, so I am open to correction?! :)

touch sensitive technology is really great but...i think we should let the stupid people get them first and be the guinea pigs untill the tecnology is perfected....maybe then i'll think about getting a touch sensitive phone

the site here says that the phone has fm radio but i ve checked on lg's official site and it doesnt say that is has.....can anyone who has this phone tell me plz??

Usually u can charge LGs with d USB cable but it gives a really crap charge that dosent last long.

this is phone is by far the nicest looking phone...ever!
ive had it for a week now nd love it, but i hav come across a few bugs. in the music player if u skip past a few songs it suddenly starts playing sum song called undefined which according to the phone doesnt actually exist becoz u cant find it nd delete it. its rly annooying but other than tht it is a rly gd phone.

can someone tell me if the speaker is as good as the ROKR E6, CUZZ i have a ke970 shine but the speaker is so low that most of the time i miss my call, but my E6 speaker is really loud i can heard it when it ring.

i dont know man.. i got mine for a pretty high price but look at this,
so many bugs with it so far.. im not enjoying this phone at all its not worth the money i spent

Screen is very colourful and the resolution is very good.
I've looked at the camera shutter noise options on mine, it gives three different sounds but there isn't a 'none' option, so no, you can't turn it off.
For everyones that says LG phones are rubbish, yeah your right, with the exception of this one, the user interface is superb, reception has been brillant. I had to ignore the fact it was an LG and it had Prada written on it. It's a very good phone that works very well. Battery life is only a couple of days but that is to be expected. I have had this phone for over a week now and haven't had a single problem with it, I love it. If you have doubts go into a shop and try one, I have two friends that had been taking the P*ss out of this phone until they tried mine, they both have one now.

just to clear things up... can the shutter sound be turned off or not???
