hey. just a quick question for anyone who knows: how can i save a message (into the phone) which is on the sim card? because i don't have any option like "safe this message on the memory phone"? if anyone knows pls pls let me know by email preferably. thanks a lot!

i have just bought the phone, only one thing to add.. It's a phone!!! It's not a computer! It's realy nice, the scroulling key, just be nice to it!!! works just fine if you be gentil!! Up until now it's a beautiful and very funcionable device... For a mobile...

This phone is a nice phone I like it and try the ringer is kinda low I give this phone an 8 out of 10 I like I had an accident with mine Thoth I had it in mypocket along with some keys and I cracked the LCD

I was highly disappointed by this phone. Ok, the design was stunning, great looks, and it really shines. It has full metal body, that is the first thing that i loved at it, and also it has very good shooting quality, autofocus and flash and lots of photo options. The menu was one pretty common, nothing impressive, a little bit clumsy i may say. Ok. The first time i wanted to throw it out the window, was when i installed the software. I installed the drivers, software, but when i click on connect, after connecting the phone to the usb, TIMED OUT! At the same time, windows found the phone as a removable device, and worked exactly like a memory stick, not less or more. The transfer rate was good, 700 kbps aprox. After a few hours, I tried to listen to the mp3`s i have downloaded to the phone. At that point, I became frustrated. How can a phone, in 2007, NOT have the feature to use one single playlist. If you clear he`s original playlist, that`s it, u won`t be able to create one, or to add mp3`s to your player. If i want to listen to music from the microSD, I have to enter the My Stuff option, to go to the file, and to play it. The Options button in the left, is not to be found, when i click Play on any files. It just appears when i enter the mp3 player. So, my friend`s do not buy this phone, it is just a piece of garbage (hope u won`t deny my message for my extreme sincerety), honestly. As for the slow part, it`s just ok, sometimes the scroller is kinda sloppy, but it works out just fine. Shame on u LG. !

this phone is beautiful i love it too bits but every couple months it start to freeze the network goes it starts to switch of and on itself scrolling becomes difficult as the fone does these random things...

Does anyone have AT&T/Cingular and has been able to use the LG KE970 Shine? I noticed that AT&T/Cingular only has the CU720 phone so this has me concerned. Any responses are appreciated, thanks!

The scroller is not slow it just over shoots sometimes... the phone itself isnt slow at all... i dont know what people expect out of a phone but this phone is normal speed as any other phone... it rings decently loud, again its not a pda or anything so its not going to ring like your house alarm clock... i can hear my phone ring in the pool hall with everyone talking and the music in the background and all that...

i'm thinkin of gettin this fone but lots of comments hav sed its slow and isnt loud when it rings. also i hav heard the scrollers really bad. can sumone tell me if this stuff is true

How do you lock a text message you want to save? How do you attach a picture image to a contact number?

I read someone asked about which shine to get.. the difference between the LG KE970 and the LG CU720 is that the cu720 is an at&t specific phone, it will have the at&t logos and opening ceremony and the outside butting is a tilt button verses a scroller... the LG KE970 is a world phone (unlocked) and can be used with any gsm provider via simcard... other than that it is the same phone... if you have a at&t sim and dont mind all the at&t logos and opening then go for the cu720... otherwise KE970 FTW

Just bought this phone outright two days ago. So far the phone is pretty good. Functions are good, ringtones are fine, I was able to transfer music from PC to phone using cable. Screen is big and colours are good.
The only downside is yes, the scrolling thing. With texting, it's big and clear, but I find that the keypads look like it's gonna break off, if I text too much. I'm a texter.. and I bought this phone for the big screena and keypads..
It's certainly a stylish phone.

I've had this phone for about 2 months now, but when I try to check my voicemail and enter my password the buttons I click don't work! Has anyone else had this problem / knows how to fix it? It is like if it says "please enter your password", and I enter it and it shows it on the screen, but it doesn't accept it.

I have had the phone for 3 days also, and have checked everything... i honnestly dont think its gonna get any louder....
But if there is a way, id like to know too, but i dont think its going to. Sorry...
