laura it depends on what kind of person u r. i like to use everything on the mobile and instal other applications and games, and for that nothing compares with nokia. but this is a very nice mobile and applications are reasonably good, and also it's beautiful.what u can expect from mobiles, all of them have falts and qualities, but there'r some realy nice applications and scroll key, is just a matter of being gentil with it. ;)

I post again. I saw the review of KE970 here at gsmarena.com And I'm surprised because I saw that the description of the phone doesn't fit with my phone. For example, the "Playing the tracks" section of the review says I can filter tracks when you choose the MP3 Player from the Multimedia submenu, but in reality when I choose the MP3 Player from the Multimedia submenu it directs me to the song list, without letting me choose 1. All songs; 2. My play list; 3. Settings like in the review (picture2). I have nothing to set to the player, it simply doesn't have any settings. Also, there is a problem with the pictures, because i cannot maximize them. Can anyone tell me why are these differences between the review and the real phone. (mine at least). PS: I bought this phone from a local dealer. I'm from Romania. Thx again

I have some problemsŞ
1. I can not install almost any ".jar" application, because it gives me a lot of errors. I saw that, when i try to install something, it asks me if I want install it in the original directory or if I want to make another. What to choose? I could only install 2 of 10 ".jar" applications, because it says something about some errors.
2. Can i delete the initial mp3s (the ones which are in the main sound directory)? I don't like them and appear in the play list. And, also, can I create a new play list?

i am considering buying this phone when my contract is up with annother phone and i need some advice whether to buy it or not. i am reading that people love it and people hate it. that theres problems with the scroller and when you talk to people it is really low. is it worth buying it or should i look for something else?

Oooh i just love this phone its like it was made for us people who are born to shine, im a party ani;mal and believe you me this is a show stopper. me my shorts and my lip gloss damn this phone makes me feel very very hot

yea i have the hot pink shine and i love it so much theres nothing wrong with this phone except that when you talk to people its really low and u cant hear very well other then that its amazing and this shine is way better then the other one, and i dont no how to chagne the msg tones can some one help me..

btw, the batteries get charged while you are transferring files from the pc to the phone, using the usb data cable. now, how convenient is that?!!

this phone is really nice, although the price is a bit unreasonable. i've had no problems with the scroll key like everyone else has been saying; you just have to be gentle with it. unfortunately, the metal gets scratched really easily. the battery life isn't so bad. the features aren't so bad either. this phone has some cool features considering it's just a cell phone. remember it's not a computer! all in all, a great phone and very flashy.

I have had this phone 3 months and I HATE it. When I use it as a data device it won't charge. It has problems with more than a handful of songs at once. Turning it on with a full memory card inserted is impossible. The scroll wheel is rubbish, far too sensitive in one direction. Sometimes the software goes haywire and it needs to be turned off. It won't let me send pictures as e-mails. Overall I would have to say that it sucks.

i was downloading music and a virus came with one of the mp3 and from that point the phone stuck at one point, i tried getting it flashed but everybody i bring it to the flash they put on it don't work. what do you recommend i do?

i got this phone about a week ago. i love it so far but i have been reading all these coments about the scroller not working properly and the phone freezing all the time. however i find this a very easy to use phone, what do you expect a phone to do apart from txting and calling?, if you want a phone that has good music capability then i suggest you buy an ipod or something. buy the way is it possible to get different themes?

I've tried it before.
The problem is the plastic sticker covered the speaker so i barely can hear anything.
I took it off then it works...
Da!! I feel such a fool hehe....

@bali: you can control the volume with the buttons on the right side of the phone. (there are 5 levels
BTW, the text messages capacity is 300, is there any way to increase it?
I bought a memory card, but I couldn't find the option to save the messages on it!

the volume is too low.... I can't barely hear anything when somebody calls me. How to turn the volume louder?

if you put the sim card on the sms should read auto in the inbox. that is what happened to mine ;) sorry not being able to help more :(
