I have 3 months with my SHINE.
-Slide mechanism is perfect.
-Battery Life is poor (3 days max)
-It HAVEN'T themes, so u CANT install any theme
-With a 2GB card, the Mp3 player get so slow.. i have to wait like 15 or 20 seconds while it load the song list =/
-Sometimes when I try to open videos, it laggs and I need to get off the battery and restart it because doesnt respond..
The design is really nice, but the functions not!
I'm thinking to sell it, and get back to Sony Ericsson as usually, they're superior quality, I want a P1.

I have had the Shine for 3 weeks now. Great phone, LG is coming along.
To transfer your files, you have to place them into a folder called MP3. Just drag and drop. Same goes for pictures as well.
The speaker phone is sub-par. But for all of its shortcomings, its a solid handset. You have to train the battery for the first few days by letting it completely drain. then you should get a pretty even drain on the battery.

I like this phone because of look,its amazing,just I've heard that LG is crap....I'm thinking of buying it,so what do you suggest?

ive had in on trial for a week now deciding whether to keep it as my new upgrade. the phone itself is very stylish however the loud speaker is so quiet its almost non existent.camera not the best and visibility outside is a bit difficult.if LG can sort out the speaker problem it would be a great phone.and yes i was lead to believe it had a radio disappointed with that.

The screen keeps cracking or the scroll button would stick.
Phone would be frozen then you would have to switch off and switch on again

Dn't buy this phone, it only looks good, the battery life is terrible, it takes long to run the applications, the speackers are very low, for the price it cost even the midrange nokias perform much better. LG phones only look good. I got this phone 1 month, but im selling it on e-bay. Nokia N73 it's the phone 4 me.

I have had mine for about 2 months and the screen has already stuffed out. i havnt droped it and i have had a cover on it. its gone completely black. I also cant access mms for some unknown reason. my opinion dont buy it, its a waste of time money and effort.

This is my first LG phone and the last....
being an I-mate user, I had the bulky Jasjar, I expected more, like word.doc files editing more flexibility of messaging better mp3 sound but I was disappointed
Pros:
Elegant, Robust, mp3 tones
Cons: Poor functionality, battery life, applications, themes, memory, sound

don't buy it... looks great like all of LG phones but battery is very, VERY poor, reception is bad, lags a lot.
