I'm sick of mine.
I hate the way you can only choose from four message tones, and everytime i try to change my ringtone to "Acappella Beatbox", it goes straight back to "Above The Sky", it is very frustraiting.
To be honest i can't wait to get a new phone.

hey people, i just got this phone a couple of days ago, its safe to say that i love it, there are of course pros and cons with every phone on the market, the main one on this phone being the weak speaker used for when the phone rings or when you listen to the mp3, this i think is the only negative thing about the phone, the opinions on the mirrored screen that i have read from people saying that its impossible to see anything in daylight or outside, this simply isnt true, you can see the screen pretty well outside, probably 90% so that really isnt a problem and overall the phone in terms of how it looks is top notch, it stands out and you instantly feel how well built the phone is when you hold it in your hand, overall a very nice phone with good features and a good camera!

Stunning Phone when it comes to style
i was not impressed by the S/W at all
you can never use the phone mem to save you're contacts and keep different names on the sim card,now thats stupid,plus the ringing volume is sooo damn low u can barely hear it
the keypad should be made from metal just like the LG KE770 but instead its made from plastic which feels cheap,
i'm a sony ericsson fanatic,but i decided to change to LG
Can't say i'm unhappy with the shine

very nice fone, but have bad signal. Also you can't answer or hangup unless u slide the fone up right?

is anybody having a problem with charging their shine? i just got mine and it won't work with the ac adapter, won't work with a car charger, it only charges when it is connected to a computer.

I've had my phone for a week now and I love it. It looks stunning and everyone comments on it. It's nice and slim so can fit it in my pocket easily unlike my last sony ericsson. I can get my mp3 files on it fine accept it cuts the song off after 3mins but I only use them as ring tones so it's not a problem for me. I like the font for the text messages and have been really impressed with the camera. I was going to keep hold of my sony ericsson to use as a camera but this camera beats the k800i hands down for picture quality. I havn't been very impressed with the battery life so far but I think it may be because the battery is new. The only glitch I have come across is when I am deleting read reports for text messages I have to press delete twice as the first time it cancels itself out and doesn't do anything.
It's a pain to keep wiping the screen to keep it clean but I don't mind. Unfortunatly I've dropped it a few times but it's robust! The back has a gew tiny scratches on it but the screen doesn't have a mark on it, seems difficult to scratch.
Overall I love it and wouldn't swap it. Texting takes a while to get used to cos of the flat buttons but once you get the hang of it it's easy. The build you can tell isn't as good as say a sony ericsson but as the phone is so good looking you can forgive it a few flaws!

wicked phone very good lookin and i love the design and love the features it really did pick up after the lg chocolate. the lg chocolate was a beutiful phone but the features were terrible but this phone has brilliant features and looks it is also very slim

Nice phone but lg mobiles never have everything there is some defficiency eveytime...
Anyway can anyone tell me how to download flash files(.swf) to phone it play only those which are stored in phone.

Most crappy phone ever. Stopped working on 3 day. Did not work inside the buildings while every other phone was. Functions are weak. No Volume. Cannot hear ring on max in noisy places. What a waste of $$$. Choice of rings is lousy. Looks is OK but one might aw well to buy a st.steel block and carry it!! This supposed to be a phone thou. LG = garbage
