well, there are always pros and cons for everything right.
so since i have a digital camera and mp3 player, i'm getting this phone cuz the design kicks every other phones' ass! XD
getting it tmr!

I have had an LG shine now for about 8 months and am about to recieve my 3rd replacement handset. The key pad just keeps on refusing to work! I was at reading festival with my boyf who got lost and i couldnt contact him nor answer his calls!!!!
I have been able to put my MP3s as a ring tone tho! I do find the default text tones poor and havent been able to change them.
It does look fab, but have to be honest cant wait to change it!

well i have had it fro about 6 months... and i still love it...! it has great font. i also like...everything... the screeen is light is crap but if you simply put ut hand over it its fine! i used it in the sunnyest weither poible it was great

I have bluetoothed a couple of mpregs from my work computer but they are not supported by this phone does anyoone know how to get around this or whta format i must download videos on ???? thanks Al.

to the person below me i wante dto get this phone tonight but after reading this i was wondering are these definate facts?? or just will this happen? little confused? but if this phone is like this any wsuggestions for a better one cause i have the crappy LG L342i and it pretty much sucks

uhm i am really really interested in this phone but i am concern about a few things. so roughly the cons are:
1. cant see when under bright sun.
2. awful default tones as alarm and text tone.
3. scroll key in the middle is slow to respon.
4. must take estra care with it as it gets scratch easily.
5. after switched off, user must take out battery then put it back, only it will restart.
6. camera not that good, 2MP only.
7. poor mp3 quality.
8. must slide the phone to make or end call. (if select anykey answer then dont need when answer call.)
9. playlist aint working well. (must select a new song after the previous one ends.)
any more? please reply! thanks alot. =)
oh about the problem when a person call or text and you only see the number? yes yes? copy all your contacts to the phone memory then you can see the names. =)

is this phone loud ? and if u cant use ur mp3s as ring tones is there a way around that like when u unlock the w810 then u can use mp3s as ring tones any one can help i will be greatful thanks

I used this phone as a secondary phone for few month and I am not impressed at all. Shiny screen does not let you see well what's on it in a bright outdoor light and it is impossible to see anything if you are on the beach for example. I could not connect it and synchronize with my outlook and gave up after few hours of trying (software isn't user friendly for me). Scroll feature does not work well, it is or too fast or too slow, so it is hard to select the menu. It is true - mp3 cannot be used as a ring tone. Using contacts - I could not add more than one email or one mobile number to the contact and generally it has very limited information that you can store with the contact. And finally, after 2/3 month use, this glossy screen is now half black and I cant see a thing at all, so this phone is going back to the dealer for repair. Now I am looking for another phone.

i've bought this phone 3 days ago, it's a great phone, but i think it have a bug : when i used slide show feature to see my photos result in internal memory, this phone going restarted again and again until i unplugged the battery. and same thing happened too when i've decided to use external memory to saw my photos result. how could this happen to my phone?. I really appreciate if anybody can give answer. Thanks

I just got this phone a week ago, and I'm having some problems changing the ringtones. I don't know if it's a software glitch,but some of the mp3s won't work as ringtones. And also the "change group ringtone" doesn't work, instead, I have to go into the group and individually change each member. Can someone let me know if they're having the same problems thx!

I bought this phone and i`m really proud of it,as here in Romania,it has 3G dialing, and the version i have allowes me to chose which mp3 i have as a sms ringtone. the pictures are great but the disadvatage is that it doesn`t have a flash. and about the price,i bought it just with 200 euros from the shop.
