nice looking phone but its rubbish
i have had it 3 months - cannot change message tone - tones dont always sound
handsfree is to quiet & now the scroll dont work
you try txting withouth the scroll it takes ages
wish i went for the u6 now

I've had this phone for about a month. Its one of these phones everybody wants to have a look at, as they all seem to have D900's. Camera and screen is really good. Good weight to it. Only problem I have is that if you have problems with breaking D900/ E900 screens then this is no different as mine shattered. £45 to repair from c phonewarehouse, but have seen these screens for about £20 on the bay with tools. You can only use the original message tones for text messages sadly. When watching any 3g vid it won't enlarge to the size of the scrren which is a bit annoying. Mp3 player option only works with music stored on the phone and not from a sd card. To be honest, great phone but this month i am getting annoyed with screens breaking on most of my phones. Hopfully somebody can make a good flip phone so i don't have to keep replacing screens. Also, if you have a samsung, do not send it back to their repair centre as they are the worst people and most horible people i have ever come across. according to them an 11 day old phone is out of warenty?

I got this phone and this phone is the BEST I HAVE SEEN AND USED....
If you are even thinking to buy this phone, don't hesitate and buy it now!!!!!
This phone has a 100% perfect design and this phone has all the features a person could need in 2007~
I don't know how many people are getting errors on their LG Shine, but I haven't got any and I probably won't....
My LG Shine is everything I wanted....

Not too bad. Reliability is a bit on the naff side, though. Looks nice, and has the most awesome feeling slider mechanism I've used on a phone.
At the company I work for (online phone dealership), I once had a person try and return this phone on the basis that it was "too shiny". Comedy!

I bought LG SHINE KE 970. There is no doubt it looks great but i found the problem mentioned below. If any of my friend wanna buy this mobile then read carefully.
1. Your phone will be switched off while connected with computer.
2. Battery life is too short.
3. You can't install the themes
4. You can't use equlizer for the songs stored in memory card. Its only available for the songs stored in phone memory.
5. Camera Flash light is not stronger enough
6. Speaker's voice is dead low.
7. You cant lock any application
8. Your can't play 3gp videos you may copy to your mobile even it is 3gp sported phone. This is very strange.
9. T here is only one point to use for charging,headphone,usb cable. You can do only one job in one time.
10. If you need flash light to take photo then you can on flash from menu but it will remain on all the time unless you off it manually.Consumes large amount of battery.
11. Cover replacement is almost impossible.
12. You cant minimize mp3 player while playing songs to use other applications (for the songs playing from memory card) You can minimize mp3 player while playing the songs stored in phone memory.

Looks nice! Thats all! Had first one for 2 weeks before the keys started to freeze whilst texting. Had a replacement and a month later lo and behold the same thing happened but it also switched off when i slid it shut! Sent it to Phones 4 U-seless to repair and it came back fixed but with some new faults! It now doesn't ring out when a call or message is received and when using it to make a call i can't hear the person on the other end of the line. It is still on-going as P's 4 U won't sort out the problem and are fobbing me off. In short stay away form this useless cheap ornamemt and P's 4 U are ok when they are getting their money out of you but after sales care is disgusting!!

u see the volume key on the right handside just next to the USB cable?
w/ volume key you can ZOOM!!!! yay!!! = )

I just bought this phone,it was a nice phone.but,is someone know about the metal casing was an scrath reisitant or not?because my phone had a scrath in the left near the LCD.may i change the metal casing?thanks

Ok, i was reading some comments on this phone, and most people said it wasn't worth the money, too many problems with it. Well i was wanting to get the LG KE770 Shine, but I'm worried about getting it thinking it might have some of the same problems. I dont want to pay for a phone and be stuck with it for 18 months and it suck.
does any1 know if the LG KE770 Shine has the same problem, or other problems?

many people have said about problems with the signal, the signal is to do with the network not the phone manufacturer, these are two totally different things.
i agree you can get crap signal, but with most phones now you can alter this by searching for a local network on the phone. i do this whenever i really need to make a call. i never have problems because i can do this, and i live in a rural area between 2 valleys!!!!

Really nice looking phone, lov everything about it apart from th fact that you can only have three options for a message alert tone and you cant have anything else? why why? why?... so annoying!

DO NOT GET THIS PHONE!!!! had one for 2 months and sold it due to it scratching so easily.... looks nice but hardly any features

Excellent Stunning design with great features but with worest signal strength...Dont know why LG Phones have weak signal strength even it sometimes lose its signals at open place......Great phone but LG ur Signal SuCkS!!!
