had this phone for 3 month really unhappy with how easily it scratches!!!! u only have to breath on it and it marks!!!! does anyone know where i can get a replacement shell????

ya, maybe my lg shine is different. i am from indonesian by the way, so i bought the phone here and my lg shine has an external memory card slot but not 3g. maybe you right, its different and there is nothing i can do to put any game to my phone. but thanks anyway ..

Please,can anybody tell me how to transfer the sound of the MP3 player to my bluetooth stereo headset Plantronics Pulsar 590?I've read many reviews of that phone in the net,and they say it has A2DP bluetooth stereo profile,but I can't find that option.I've done this many times with Samsung and Motorola,so I sure know how to connect my headset.But when I connect it to the phone and play the music,it goes through the speaker.There is no option "play via bluetooth" or "transfer to bluetooth" as it is with other phones with A2DP.Anyone can help?

Sorry to hear that..Mine has this option "install" in OTHERS folder,and I've installed already 20 jar files,very simple...maybe you have a different firmware version?

there is no "install" option at the "others" folder.
setting option is file with:
1. delete
2. send via
3. file (which just contain move or copy to another folder)
4.new folder
5. multi delete
6. delete all.
so i still can't download any game to my lg shine.

Hi to all!Here's how I install java games into the LG shine:transfer the JAR file via bluetooth to the phone.It goes in folder OTHERS.Then you open the folder,and press "options"-left soft button.There is an option 3 "install",press it.Install process starts-it says "compiling jar",after that "optimizing jar".And the .jar file is installed into Games folder-Downloaded.Good luck!

u can add the txt, ppt, xls, doc files into the documents folder and u can view it. u can add the video files in the video folder, Mp3's can be added in the sounds folder, but it cannot read the any files if we put under others folder even game files (java) the games& apps is not visible if connected to the pc. any idea ? anyone?
I have tried to transfered the game files via bluetooth as i did for my v3i, but it doesnt work as well. it never wants to install in the games folder... :(

Moodyryan you just need to call T-Mobile and tell them that you have the LG KE970 and they will sned you a txt message file to set the phone up, it worked for my friend so if the rep you're taling to denies it try talking to another one, enjoy.

Just a quickie - I have just ordered this phone and used to have the chocolate. Is it possible on the Shine to change the ringtone for messages as I know it wasn't on the Chocolate?

ABOUT LG SHINE'S RECEPTION PROBLEMS.
i got my phone about last week and im just having one noticeable probably with it. i barely have any reception inside buildings and sometimes when i make/recieve calls i or the person im calling doesnt get it. what can be the problem with this? i am in california (specifically the bay area) and im not sure why my reception is shitty. it is because this phone is a triband phone and att (the old cingular) is networked by 1900 and 850? is there anything i can do in the connectivity option to increase the phones reception or something?
