i have had this phone for 3 months and love it to bits.... only minus is the scratches can anyone tell me where i can get a replacement shell???/

1 G memory card is fine, I have that in mine, it can take larger, up to 4 I think, yes it does ring and vibrate at the same time and yes my alarm clock works fine, it also vibrates, the only problem is you are limited to pre installed alarm rings. Hope this helps.

pls pls..can some 1 tell me how big the memory card can be is 1gb too much, and does it ring and vibe the same time, and the last is teh alarm clock working normal becauze i readed some reviews. please tell me sooner because i will get it in a few days.

Hi guys, i need help..!! This phone is driving me mad!
When i get a txt it shows the number only same goes to when i get a miss call,its really annoying when i do not remember the number,please help me!!
Also can i only add songs to the external memory card and not the internal one?I can add songs and play it one by one on the external ones but when i use the MP3 player button on the corner i don't see the songs,why is that?!

First of all it lookis like they are trying to rip of SE and Samsung OS and doing a bad job of it, The phone looks great, but its so terrible to use this is what they need to work on and when done i would probably consider buying one.

For information, you cant zoom on the maximum resolution when taking still pictures but you can if you reduce the resolution. I agree that the picture quality is very good on the stills. You can use MP3's for ringtones but not text/mms alerts. I also agree that the phone does show the name of the person sending you a text or ringing you, this may sound obvious but you will have to have stored their name and number in yopur phone for this to work !!!

Hi Kent in answer to your questions yes sometimes the screen can be hard to see in daylight but i would not say this is any worse than any other phone i have had in the past. my previous phone was the samsung e900 and i could not use that outside in daylight as i could not see the screen. the LG KE970 does have very good contrast settings that can be changed easily (especially when taking a photo or video), the scroll key becomes a contrast setting. so i have not really found this to be a big problem. The camera quality is very good, probably the best i have seen on a 2meg camera. the auto focus is very good and very sharp. the only downside i have found is that i can not work the zoom on the still image camera. The auto focus does seem to auto zoom. The zoom on the video camera is not great but ok. I am not totally sure if you can zoom in still image mode, if you can i have not worked out how to yet and would be greatfull if someone would tell me. i hope this answers your questions

Ok a few questions answered. I have had the LG KE970 for about a week now and i am very impressed. i have seen some posts here saying you can not use MP3 files as ringtones that is NOT true. you can. i must say the software the phone comes with is useless. to transfer files from your pc to your phone you dont need the software. the phone will show up as a mass storage device. just drag and drop the files to the approprite folder, ie MP3 files in the sounds file. Simple
I have seen many posts here that the KE970 doesn't show the name of the sender on text messages only the number again NOT true. my one shows the name of the sender and first line of the message.
My overall opinion on this phone is that it is OK probably not the best on the market in functions but the looks are outstanding and you can tell that more effort has been placed in the look than button configuration. the phone has auto lock on all the keys other than the volume (which can be really annoying) it is very easy to accidently turn the ring volume down whilst the phone is in your pocket.

besides the 3G on the KU970, whats the difference between both? is it true that the KU doesnt have a card slot?

Ah...just bought KE970...feel disappoint with it.
1.)Speaker volumn is low(Only one speaker)
2.)Why can't have vibrate and sound set together...and can't set customize sound for incoming message...(what are the designer for this phone thinking???)
3.)How to install Java...(Can some one teach me...)
I think the only advantage of this phone is its out look only... :(
