I've had the phone for 3 months now, i've dropped it doing 50 mph and it's only got a scratch! It's a durable phone, it looks ace and the menu looks awesome. Unfortunately, the phone has quite a few down sides, for example, when its sunny, you can't see the screen properly, the phones slow and you have to buy a memory card because the memory's crap. All in all i think its a cool phone but its not the most practical. If your after gadgets and software, this phone's not for you but if your in to style and sleekness, buy it.

I had this phone for 3 months, and it sucks big time.
You cant use mp3 files on Micro sd card together with the remote.
Using Mp3 player it isnt possible to put "keyboard lock" on.
When you transfer files using BT it disconnet if you slide the phone back in closed position.
To delete a sms you have to push 3 buttons.
Scroll function, when using the button function is not good, offen jumps 1 step down.
The phone has a lot of WOW factor and that is all it is good for.

had mine about a week no on 02
the phone keeps shutting off .
have to take the battery out to reset it .

Does anyone knows if there is a reject list on ke970? On my bqsiemens s81 there is and I can add any contact to it so if someone is on reject it gets a busy line when he calls me

Its a great fone. I love sliding it, and it doesnt scratch too badly. However it turns off if u close it 2 hard cos there r probs with the battery, and there are literally NO GAMES 2 DOWNLOAD that I can find. The 2 it comes with r ok..
Pretty good camera tho and pretty user friendly. Cool favourites list on main screen too :) Any1 found any extra games yet?

got the fone 2day and cant figure out where my music is goig can ay1 help. other than that its a good phone and the mirror is very handy

In response to kenny. i have the same problem. Switching off is fine. but I too have to take the battery out then put it back in to switch it on. Grrr. What we gonna dooooo?!!

In my opinion this is the best looking slider out there and the best fashion mobile that's price isn't in the sky (like LG Prada). However, in just about EVERY review it is said that the battery life isn't good and that because of the scroll wheel, ankwardly placed keypad and kinda bad keys, this is NOT an easy to use ergonomic mobile. In one official review it was said that LG Shine has one of the worst keypads ever.
I like LG's current style though and I'm sure when its successor is released it will be much more easy and comfortable to use. But until then, I will pass on LG Shine (and Samsung U600) and probably buy Nokia 6300. Don't get me wrong, I'm crazy about the looks of the Shine but from experience I can say that coolness wears off easily when it is replaced by irritation over poor ergonomics and usability.

i jus bout this fone and its very good but does any1 else have have the power up problem im i turn it off wit the end button but then wen i turn it bak on wit the end but it wont turn on and i have to remove the battery then replace it any1 else have this problem ?
