For a phone that was released in late 2008, this phone's external memory support is nothing short of abysmal.
For anybody who is looking to purchase this phone in hopes of having a large expansion of memory (thanks to microSD's 16GB storage - as of posting date), my recommendation would be to steer clear of this phone.
Apparently the maximum capacity for the microSD expansion, is a whopping 2GB. The manuals make no mention of this, so buyers beware!

Anonymous, 08 Sep 2009it also comes in sky blueummm sky blue is only for the LG LU1600 "ice cream 2" For the ice cream 1 it comes in Strawberry (pink), Pistachio (blue-ish green), and Vanilla (white), for the ice cream 2 it comes in Peach Pink, Snow White, and Sky Blue :)

how to add the external LED icon (for the wallpaper), I got the digital clock only one icon ? i saw online picture and found that there is a "love" icon for the external LED display ? please help...

Phone looks great. Really love it when I first have it..
However problems occurs..
sliver lining at side wears off over months.
Phone starts to become unpredictable, as it system might shut off by itself and restart without warning..
I lost my personal contact twice, everything in phone memory gone.
Photos taken and stored are diff in ratio, gotta take a closer picture of item to get the "idea" photo..
Theme is limited. Only 2 theme to choose from. black or white.
Sms function goes well with english. Chinese character pops up with problems like unable to see wording..
Ringtone is loud enough only when the phone is flipped open. Volume 7 is good enough for indoor but not for outdoor as its a flip phone being close when brought out.
Kinda disappointing overall despite the goodlook design of the phone..Fun using only for short period.
Above is only my personal view towards my current phone. Read it as a reference.. Thanks. =)

I just got this phone and already it's acting funky. The screen keeps changing brightness for no apparent reason and sometimes it shuts off by itself. I just really like the way it looks and it has nice options like it has all the numbers for fast food and emergencies in your area, and google option. But otherwise i think it was made by cheap labour or something. I mean i just got it a week ago!

This phone is pretty. Its got most the standard functions. There's lots to play around with the LED display in the front. However, it seems very unstable. In my experience, the phone frequently freezes, and sometimes restarts and I've lost all my phone data (not saved on memory card) before. It is very pretty externally, but its hard to say how reliable the phone is.

Wells, this phone totally NOT GOOD FOR USING .
The ringing tone is SO SOFT. it can't sense the memory card properly. camera not good. its not worth buying :(

urms, is this phone really bad?. it does look good and i am actually wanting to buy it as i'm running out of phones to choose from.
btw, this is not a 3G phone? i mean nowadays how people survive w/o a 3G phone?

hey, i just wanted to ask, what things can u download to the cell phone? and how many songs does the mp3 take? and also for the microsd if there is already something on the phone (for the 30 mb storage) when i put the microsd will the things that i have on the 30mb, will they stay?

no, i don't really like this phone. i've been using it for 4 months.. and i plan to sell it now.
it's not user friendly at all.
lagging when messaging.. sometimes phone shut down automatically by itself.
and when taking photos using the camera, the full screen view is always close up one, and things appear to be bigger than actual.. that's why you have to change the setting to landscape view before taking photos EVERYTIME. and even using landscape view, the objects will appear to be stretched. such a bad camera.
phone sound, not okay.. it's too soft when soft, and too noisy when loud.
oh yeah, one more thing, the files of photos taken are ALWAYS randomly arranged!! they CANNOT be sort by date/time, that's why you have to go through ALL PHOTOS one by one before you can find the photo you want! the same thing when photos transferred into pc.. all randomly arranged, which gives me headache. sigh.....
