Just to follow-up LG KG series drivers and PC software can be downloaded free here: http://in.lgmobile.com/web/web.support.manualRF.laf
Remember for the KG200 series you must use the KG300 PC software.
1. Just plug-in your phone to the PC via USB
2. Phone will prompt you for disk drive or com mode. Enter Com.
3. Run the LG PC software (.exe file).
4. Software will auto-prompt you to connect.

The LG KG200 is an excellent phone. Within its price range (Rs.4800-5000) with USB cable and stereo hands free headset included in the box its a nice deal.
1. Overall design of the phone is appealing but note striking. Its sleek and looks like a typical candy bar form phone. Its got a very usable screen, good color, does not scratch easy.
2. The phone sound is very good. But keep in mind its not a high-end phone designed for music play. So the hi-fi and volume is not quite there.
3. The user interface is simple but does take a little getting used to. At times it felt a little clumsy but soon I had no issues.
4. There is PC software that enables you store/edit phone books entries----from LG. But the trick to know that the LG software for the LG KG300 is what works for the KG200---so even though you have a KG200 use the KG 300 software from the LG support site.
5. Camera is good for a 1.3 mp camera. But its no substitute for a digital camera. I use it a lot for all sorts of things (family, shopping, something eye catching, friends, work, etc.)
MY RATING: For Rs. 5000.00 There is no better phone on the market. As a mid-range phone you might feel there could be improvements but most of these apply to other Rs. 5000 (like the Sony Z550i).

Wasim munawar bought this phone no software found for com port indian website for LG can't help me, Rana Nasir ali also having this phone impressing F.Rehman, but this set not impressing me while technology beyond me bluetooth ifrared pc suit etc are available on phones but this phone?

i want to upgrade my lg kg 200 cell phone.i bought it in february 2007.i did not find applications menu in multimedia menu.i find only games options but no applications beside that.how to install java on my mobile

PLEASE HELP :(
How to install java games using .jad/.jar files? The .jad/.jar files are not being recognized in KG 200.
A '?' marked icon is displayed to indicate that. I tried finding information about it, but in vain. When i click the 'options' for the .jad/.jar files, only these are displayed:
1.Detail
2.Rename
3.Copy
4.Move
5.Delete
6.Delete all files
7.Sort
Pls reply as to what should be done for installing java games on KG 200...

I bought this mobile phone three weeks before and it's very good for usage like weightless and clarity etc.,

Lg KG 200 mobile is good and also feature is good. but i have no Lg KG 200 mobile PC Suit.so that i could not connect the Internet.It is my mostly requirement. Plese send the PC Suit Software And Drivers.

to make the sound louder of ur lg kg 200
4 all audio / video and other files u have to do these step
1.)on the main screen type 2945#*#
when u will type this code a menu will appear naming "ENGINEER MODE" this is a mode where u can adjust your like an ENGINEER.
2.)go to the 4th option AUDIO
3.)go to the 2nd option NORMAL MODE
4.)go to the 4th option MELODY
5.)it will show these 7 options
volume 0
volume 1
volume 2
volume 3
volume 4
volume 5
volume 6
one by one go to every option
in volume 0 set it to (0)
in volume 1 set it to (40)
in volume 2 set it to (84)
in volume 3 set it to (128)
in volume 4 set it to (172)
in volume 5 set it to (212)
in volume 6 set it to (255)
6.)after setting these options this come back to the previous mode (NORMAL MODE) and then go back it will ask u to (UPDATE PARAMETER) Click YES
7.)do same procedure with (LOUDSP MODE) and (HEADSET MODE).
8.)its finised

hi guys!!!
i hav this fone LG kg200.its 2 good and stylish fone but i hav a prob in my fone tht is...
some times when there comes a call on my fone than it does'nt show the num.just there rings bell with the normal display and also at tht time the green button does'nt work so i cant recv call at tht time.
kindly pls help me outei dont know which kind of prob it is...

I m using LG KG200. Its a superb cell i have ever had. I can play lovely games. I can listen where i have the full network area and where there network is not available i can listen music on its music player. its too sltylish. its clarity is also good. sound quality is too good. picture quality is also very fine. But the best features r - Music player, FM radio , Video recording, Live recording and offcourse camera. Its a too good option to have a good cell in your hand
