Goodnews for all those, who are owner of KG200, and whose phone does not support JAVA.
Simply go to LG service center ang upgrade firmware.
You will get newer fle manager, which recognizes Java files.
In MULTIMEDIA option you can see the choice GAMES AND APPLICATION.
Dial 2945#*# to know your firmware.
I have upgraded my firmware to-

}
which supports Java.
Ask for newer version.

There is no option of Consumer Forum.. as LG is providing the Software /Firmware upgrade.
And also, its very clearly mentioned in the Booklets of all the products, that the company can upgrade the product, without informing the customers.

Hi friend
I am facing same problem of java not supoorted by my kg 200 phone. You are very right that lg might have given two type of phones in same price for same model.
Though we have given same price our kg 200 phone do not supoort java, hence we should go to consumer forum for this cheating by LG. Please contact me on 9869261991 on my cell if any LG user has same problem.

Thus far , have found it to be a versatile and practical fone....a few faults, like hang up, cannot play fm via speaker. Cannot view in sunlight, a big disadvantage.
Can someone help and advise me as to how to use USB, to copy, pics and video's taken on LG200 to my PC? Bcoz when I tried, the fone hangs up and goes into a funny mode, as it show a different battery charging signal, not the usual with the screen saver and the dtls and the small battery on the upper right, but the CELL alone in the ctr, and then it does not switch on easily.

Well i m very disappointed to know that there are two Models Or Versions Of this cell. Last night when my friend purchased this cell n showed me i saw that in Multimedia Menu there is a Sub Menu Named As "Games & Applications" on the otherside my cell has only Games sub menu so i knew that those persons who r saying that java is fully supported is infact true there were two games installed n when i played them they both were JAVA games so therefore i will request all friends to communicate with the lg service centers and ask them that why this option is not available in all sets is there any software upgradation issue because we both bought this set on same price but i don't have java support in my mobile those persons who r saying that goto wap.getjar.com and download the game through gprs i tried that too but it says that Unsupported Content Type it means that there is no java support if anyone know any trick so plz tell me and don't forget to ask LG Center abt this stupid fact.

it is a good phone and i really liked it. but i have a problem. if some one has any antivirus for the phone because a virus has travelled from my pc to my lg kg 200. any solutions?

Hello Tanveer Aftab here,
If you are running windows 2000 or xp you don't need driver. All you have to do is when you connect usb cableon mobile you will two options
1- usb port
2- comport port
you should option 1 and press ok on cell phone button. After few seconds you will see one or two exta drive in my computer open one of them you will see folders over there
put suff in desired folder and unplug usb and start your phone.

lg kg 200 is an excellent phone having very convenient to carry with good battery charging capacity and all other fecilities are very good .only one problem is that mms service not getting connected in sultanate of oman and if that is done it is so good and can attract more and more buyers.

Hi hichic
All you have to Copy your mp3s in my stuff folder through computer. Then go to my stuff locate desired file press option and forward to profile. after that go to profile and choose that tone.
