Hi Usman,
As per ur re-commendation, I downloaded the *.jad and *.jar files from the www.getjar.com to my PC, and then I copied them into the Recieved folder of the KG200.
When the I started the phone, it doesnt recognize those files.
Could u plz guide further.
As per my discussion with Service Center people, they told me that the phone only supports java files downloaded using the WAP/GPRS. It dosent suppor the java files loaded from the PC, as it doesnt have File Manager.

some clarifications from a kg200 user:
1.there is indeed java support on this fone. MIDP 2
2.there is a file manager. JSR-75
3.it supports any java games meant for 128x160 screens.try out the nokia series 40 games especially.as already mentioned in this forum, there are lotza sites, www.getjar.com being very good.

dear users,
i m about to buy this phone plz help that should i have it or my money will b wated.
(1)can v use mp3 as a ringtone.(2)can v change the msg tone.(3)is battery time good or not.(4)can v use mp3 player in background.

ya we can use mp3s as ring tones but only 5 at a time mean you ll ve to delets a previous ring toneif you want to add a new one...
its audio quality is poor if less tahn 128 kb/s...

friends u can increase the FM volume at loudspeaker .simply dial 2945#*# then go in audio then in normal mode then in melody and incrases voulume level .

dears dont go it coz its sound is not so loud only 5 ring tones can be stored...
cant use mp3 less than 128 kb/s else it creats noise and delivers a poor sound quality.plus a very very poor battery...just money wastage

Friends this phone is now supporting java...
But dont make a silly decision of purchasing this stupid phone...Camera not so good...lazy to store images and distortion is very much...But a serious problem of battery is also there...half of charging vanishes in abt 12 hours if you just keep it on i mean no calls no sms...if u make calls then reduce this to 1/4...a poit drops when make or recieve a 5 min call...pls dont waste money on it

LG KG 200 phone turns off while usinng as a flash drive. Cell phone shouldn't off while using usb flah disk

Hi … I surely recommend this phone becoz I am enjoying it right now…. As this mobile got every feature except Bluetooth and I don’t think that many people purchase mobile for Bluetooth. When it comes to features, believe me Mp3 player music quality is very good, photo clarity, video clarity and fm are also very good. Very recently I took photos with this mobile when all of we team members went to picnic, and many of my team members really got impressed with the clarity of the photos, hey don’t compare the clarity of the photos taken with 5 mega pixel camera or more.
I can say u one thing, no mobile in the market is having this quality features at such price. And I am sure u enjoy the mobile and it wont disappoint u. the only thing I remind u is don’t expect too much from this mobile.
Cons – Fm radio when switched to loudspeaker mode doesn’t produce much sound.

Hi .. I am very happy to share my experience with LGkg 200. First of all its a cell with almost all features and most importantly at affordable price.
Mp3 - very good clarity of sound
Camera - Outdoor taken pictures are very nice.
Video - its good.
Radio - Loud speaker sound is less in Radio mode.
Melody composer - really cool.
I recommend this phone to everybody who want all the features mentioned above at a very reasonable price.

Text message font size is so bing and color is red. it should be small and either black or white. No text sent item

i think it is a kind of mobile that i always eager to use.
it has all the qualities like, raio, camera, a gooo mp3 and mp4 players.
its most important feature is that it is cheap.

reasonable price ... quite good phone but it lacks Blutooth support :( .. kg300 is better
