Hello everyone,
I am from Karachi Pakistan. I bnought LG KG200 that supports java applications. For people complaining about java go to LG service centre and upgrade software version. This Phone is great in PK Rupees 6,100.

Here is the Answer to the most asked question.
JAVA application support.
Since the phone doesnt have file manager, so it will not install the java files loaded to the phone through computer.
The only way to install java applications is using the WAP/GPRS.
So, all the guys who are not able to install the java applications on this phone, have to download them using the WAP/GPRS, and then they will be installed automatically.

Guys.. u can switch off the Cell Info Display, by switching off the BROADCAST messages.

I have bought LG KG200 yesterday.can anyone say me how to find the exact date of manufacture and total time used by the handset as we can find the same in nokia phones by typing a code.Thanks in advance.mil me at pmohankum@yahoo.com

Hey guys, this phone is worth best.It supports java applications. in this price it has a lot of functions. But it has some problems that i want to note LG Electronic to solve and upgrade the firmware version
* Very Poor Quality of FM Radio
* Camera Zoom is Very Slow
* No message sent item
* keypad is not user friendly
* No stop watch and countdown timer
* While playing video you cant play miltiple
files in one time player evry times stops after playing one song or video
* MP3 player can jump to next or previous track but can't forward or backward desired time
* No option to change themes just black
* Message tone not customiseable
* While serching contact you have to push down key for many times. This phone doesn't scrool down while keep pushing down key
* You can't see in sunlight
* No option to turn off cell info
* Message font size is too large for outgoing and incoming messages. we can't set small font for a long time. Also while reading message have to push down key many times to read. No option to change page 1 page 2 while reading like Nokia and Samsung
Other than These It has lots of good functions
* Good reception
* Good calling function like time beep for single or multiple second
* Good camera and MP3 Player
* Enough internal memory
* MP4 3GP Player
LG Should put or correct all these ting in
all Phones. In Such a way LG Will Beat lot
of phone manufacturers with a lot functions

hello guyz,
My brother have kg200, can any one tell me that how i can set the small font size for incoming sms, i tried but did not find any feature except font size setting for outgoing sms which u typed,
please solve my problem

I read many of frednz opinion stating that it doesn't support java....Can we set MP3 as ringtone in this one...

ey hi there everyone.... well i got this cell phone as a great gift along with my LG 42 inch flat screen LCD t.v. ... i really like its features and m' really very happy wid its functions as it supports variety of formats of different stuff.... it has a large main memory and also has extendable memory.. bt the only thing that disappointed me a bit too much was that this cell phone aint gt any BLUETOOTH with it.... so how we share data with other cell phones if we have this great handset..... whats the use of its vast main memory and extendable memory since we cant share it wid our frndz n' all... hope u agree a bit guys.... take care...

Hi Guys,
Its a nice phone with impressive sound and camera quality. Its signal reception is also very good.
But there are some shortcomings :
1. There is no Java Support. Some people claim to have accessed Java, but I could not. I think there is a newer software version by LG for java, but its not available online for firmware upgrade. LG should provide the firmware upgrade for it.
2. The theme can't be changed, and the fixed BLACK theme is there.
3. The font size of the in-coming SMS is TOO big, and it can't be adjusted.
4. Slippery body, and its not scratch proof.
5. The PC synch software by LG only synchronize the phonebook and not the SMS.
6. The Cell Info Display can't be switched off, so you will always have to see one additional line of on the screen.
Apart from above, the phone is extremely simple to use and great value for money.

Phone is very good in every sence.....But can any body tell me how can i off the cell info ..I didnt find that option...

yes...you can change...sms font...
go to...messages-->text messages-->
-->write new message -->left soft key(options)--> Format text-->text size,text style...

yes we can set mp3 tones as a ringtones and sound quality is good u can compare this phone to sony ericsson

I'll answer my own questions since I asked LG HQ & they answered me:
- it has USB mass storage class (already answered.)
- it has NO annoying beeps whatsoever while recording is limited to the size of the memory card...
It's the best for performance/price ratio unlike some well known yet crippled trademarks... :)
