Jo : In texting, press the key # successively until appears Abc or abc or ABC, at upper right corner.

Yes, I finally spotted the caps lock/numeral indicator on the screen -- but it's tiny and barely legible.

To fihart: look at upper right corner when texting. You have there the indications: T9Abc,T9abc,T9ABC,123,Abc,abc,ABC that apppear with sucessive presses on key #

Also bought mine for a tenner in Sainsburys. This phone is fantastic value for money, so simple that anyone can use it, which is why I've given it to the wife... To all that are winging that there's no tri-band, camera, media player, holy grail, Man Utd season ticket etc - what do you expect for TEN POUNDS?!?!

Only problem is with texting -- unlike a Nokia the KG275 has no onscreen indicator to show whether you are in upper or lower case or numerals.

LG KG275 reception is strong. I experience it can make call in many places while other handphones are in black spot.

                          Hi all

I got the phone in a similiar way to some of the subscribers. i.e For £1 with other Pixmania purchases. Problem is, it only came with a French userguide. Any ideas where I can get an English version?

                          Thanks

                          Sam

Brilliant little phone, especially since I bought it for EUR 1.00 from Pixmania as part of a package! It does the basics very well, nothing fancy or gimmicky. Suits my wife perfectly.

I bought this phone in Sainsburys for £9.99 that included 50 free texts plus £1 credit. I don't want to pay for a phone with a camera, an mp3 player, games or a radio, features I won't use. So this was excellent value.

Cracking wee phone. Nice screen and does the basics well. Bought it at Sainsburys for £10....no top-up required either! A bargain.

dudes y'all complaining about how this phone don't got camera and whatnot, i gotta say whats up with that. this is obviously a phone that was built simple on purpose, for people who don't care about taking photos or doing their taxes on their phones. so before suggesting that a phone like this needs a camera you had better ask yourselves what you are doing looking at the KG275.

I bought this phone on a whim, when shopping in Sainsburys. I wanted a replacement emergency PAYG phone for my car. This being less than ten GBP whilst looking quite reasonable, fitted the bill. Being locked to Orange as a bit of a bind, because I have always found the Customer Sevice to be awful, but other than that I have found this device to be thoroughly delightful. It feels light, without feeling cheap, with excellent battery life (prob because it has so little to do) and unobtrusive. A great phone for my needs.
