I have a question about every one who puked on this cell phone. What the f... are you talking about? Did you even try to look it up on the net before you bought it> How can you say such things about the phone. It;s a cheap phone. It shouldn't be sophisticated or top in performance.

The "port" above the volume buttons is actually no port, but something to connect an antenna to if your range doesn't suffice.

Still no usb-cable for this phone, huh? The best luck I've had so far with synchronising this phone was with bluetooth and a number of obscure phone managing programs. I managed to import some text messages, but only the ones on the SIM-card.

i think that this phone is fine. And it obviously it isn't 4 people who care if the screen isn't the biggest screen in the world. 4 me it is a great phone and there is nothing wrong with it.

steven I had the same earphone problem. I had no problem once I saved the mp3s in the sounds folder or maybe the others folder. I noticed a change when i switched folders and sound was back to normal. also i think the bit rate is a problem sometimes depending on each mp3, keep the bit rate and frequency levels low

A phone to dispose of if you have one???

I've had no problem with ringtone as MP3. All can be resolved.

I have seen this phone in the flesh today at Phones4U in birmingham.
                        1) It does not allow you to set mp3 or midi as ringtones in any form only those built in.
MP3s are only for the MP3 Player for music.
                        2) The screen does not look like a 260, 000 plus screen.
                        A phone to avoid.
A phone to dispose of if you have one.
Seriously avoid this phone or trade it in at your local phone exchange.
Its just a spin off of the KG130 Jaguar and the KP202 and the LG Shine.

The phone has its shortcomings it's true but I have been able to use the MP3 player using a microSD card and the phone has a lot of features for the money. I am having a problem though - i bought one which had no sound in one of the earphone speakers. I tried the phone with other earphones and found the same thing. I got the phone exchanged at the shop, but replacement phone is exactly the same. Is anyone else finding this or is it just me?

Steven forget about the USB cable. Try a different way and probably the only way: Get a SD card reader that plugs into your PC's USB port and get a Micro SD card for your phone. You can get SD card readers to fit standard SD cards or you can get a reader that fits only Micro SD cards, either way it doesn't matter, but if you get the standard size SD reader, buy the reader with included micro adaptor. It all sounds very technical but really it isn't. Once you've got everything, here's what to do next.
Format the Micro SD card in your phone you will see it as External Memory in My Stuff, take it out, put it in the SD reader(using adaptor if standard SD card reader) On your computer, find the Removable Disk icon in My Computer. You should find 4 folders that pops up - Images, Sounds, Videos and Others. You can drag MP3 files into the Sounds folder and WMA files in the Other. I did this to ensure you don't have sound distortion. If you're buying an Micro SD card, make sure it is no bigger than 2GB. I have the Sandisk one and it's very trustworthy! It may be annoying to always use the SD reader and take out your Micro card out of your phone every time to want to transfer files but really this is the only way that's worked for me.

I bought this phone because it say's it has a MP3 player. For one thing the guide,Was not in english. So I go online to find out were the USB port was, And could not find it on the phone. on were. My phone, dosen't show any place for one. So what am I supose to do, Or what do you intend to do about it. I love the phone, But when you ask the company who made the phone, And they cant even explane why, It kinda makes a the byer, feel like the company dosn't have a clue of how to run a buisness. Sorry I have to feel like that, But the way it stands now, with me. I would not tell anyone to buy any LG product.

Also I agree that the 2GB Micro SD is what you need if you want to put music on your phone from CDs on your PC, you can put WMA files onto it. Forget bluetooth. I recommend the Sandisk one with Mini and SD adapters, all for a bargain at £7.99 + free delivery at Play.com. Get a SD usb reader, you can get these cheap even from a poundshop if you are in the UK. Then put the Micro SD into the SD adapter, then put the adaptor in the SD usb reader in your PC. When tranferring save your music in the 'Other' file. Playback quality is excellent I haven't had a problem.
