KV6000 is Chocolate black label and there is another 3G clamshell chocolate with model name KG810. This even better than KG800

    Hey Jojje!

the pics from the link that you have arent pics of this phone.
LG KG800 is first phone from Chocolate series and that's the second series of chocolate.
and I also assume that is not released in korea yet.
    i hope this helps!

The keys are locked because they are behind the phone when closed and so cannot be pressed. The front keys (the light up ones) are only active when lit up.

You can activate the touch keys when the phone is closed by pressing the volume key twice.

The back of the phone is black. plain black. camera is on back of the slide up bit.

          No it doesn't have screensavers

The ringtones are damn loud as are MP3's if you turn volume up. Nokia's volume being 1-8 does not mean they are louder just they have more steps. LG goes from 1 - 5

the lgkg800 is a stunning looking phone i have to admit, but there are a couple of problems ive found really to annoy me!
Firstly, the alarm! i played around with the alarm function all day once and yet still did not get the alarm to come on when the phone is swtiched off. This is really bad. This really doesnt help the second problem, the battery. Its just really bad and im so not used to charging my phone every day and a half.
Heres the situation for you; If your wanting to wake up early in the morning, you cant turn the phone off cos the alarm wont come on, which means the battery runs down, which means its on charge all the time- something rather irritating.
Apart from these 2 major problems (in my eyes) the phones pretty good, but if your a bit picky like me then i would stay clear of it, especially if your an early morning person, like to text and talk lots, and dont want to find yourself charging your phone all the damn time.

do anybody know how the software pc sync for lg chocolate works?

I'm not able to synchronize my mobil with outlook... it isn't possible, i think.

and there aren't any bugfixes or faqs for solution.

Thanks for taking the time and trouble to give us your opinion on this phone.

I do want it and this puts me one step closer to making up my mind to go for it.

Previously I was put off and left in doubt by certain negative reports.

First of all this phone is very special. So much so I am willing to say that it's the best phone i've ever had! It may not have all the features of other phones but look at it, this phone is nothing but STUNNING!!!! It doesn't even look like a phone until you wake it up. My respect for LG has gone up, I used to think all they did was Tv's and stuff but if they can produce more babies like this then the other companies need to start to worry!

Vahid - This phone is mainly about design, pretty much like the V3 was when it came out. If you need all the features you mentioned then obviously don't get it. However, looking at the E900 I just think "yuk" that is one ugly phone. Personally, I don't want to hide my phone whenever I need to use it so would never get that. I'm well pleased with my Chocolate.

                              - To clarify something here, it has no speaker phone option during calls.

Thassell - You must have small hands mate as the Chocolate is quite small and thin. Easily fits into my pocket without any bulges. Great for when I go out.

Alex - Get this phone mate, I have nothing but praise for it. Go to Carphone Warehouse or O2 and have a play with one. If you think it's for you then get it. Pictures doesn't do it justice.

Paul - I've not had any problems mate. Go to http://uk.lgmobile.com and send them your question.

Tommy - I think the above website do free content for their phones. Check it out.

Yusuf - Check that you have enabled Modem mode before plugging it into your PC. It should be under Menu, Settings, Connectivity. Pictures can be viewed on the phone, just make sure that they are in the right format and arn't too big.

i have had this phone for a couple of days and i am blown away by the styling of it. It looks great in photo's and even better in real life. i have found that there is a problem withthe camera, it is to easy to hit the "ok" heat sensitive button (especially with hot hands) although you can use the camare button on the side to trake shots as well. the mp3 player is ok and the cans you get with the phone are ok and functional. you do get thumbprints and smeers on the phone but LG provide a small cleaning brush which is fine. LG also provide a data cable which is great to connect your handset directly into your computer so that you can drag and drop your mp3's. If you have I Tunes on your comp, it plays the i tunes copied files. I like this handset, imo better than what i have seen of the LG black label 2 device. i would give it an honest 8/10

No problem at all with the signal quality and with the signal strength. I do not know what these other people are on about as mine is just as strong as my Nokia I had. I really do rate this phone very highly

From what I've read the insufficiently loud text alert is something that others have complained of as well, and you just have to live with it.

How do you find the call quality and the phone's ability to hang on to a signal?
