to the guy complaining about the volume of text messege sound, i agree (as im sure many others do)
how ever the volume of the ring is very loud, you must not have it turned all the way up ;)

This phone looks pretty stunning, but fingerprints seem to be a major problem. It would also look a lot better with blue rather than red lights.

The red lights on the phone look absolutely fine.

Just got the phone looks great... but if you keep it in your pocket (which is where most people do) it's hard to hear it ring and the vibrate function is not very strong. The text message is also quiet and suffers the same problem, in that you have'nt got a clue when you've been sent a message becuase you don't here of feel it go. This is really the main reason for having a phone so it might have to go back... shame really as it looks great!

          Totally agree with you mate.

Idiotic to suggest that blue lights on a black background do not go!

          Doh!

Blue lights against a 'Piano Black' background most certainly does go - just take a look at the new Pioneer Plasma TVs which have this combination: ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL and far classier than red against blue!

I agree with an earlier comment that this phone would look better if the lights were blue not red.

Is it possible to change them via the menu system?

                  Anyone?

                    Hi Mark,

Can you change the RED back light to some other colors?

                    Thanks in advance

Hello, I am from romania and i have a motorola RAZR V3x. I've seen this phone on the web and i am crazy bout it. I like the design and I don't care if it hasn't got any memory card. I want to know how much does it costs and how are the pictures taken?
If anyone wants to talk with me about phones, especially about this lg my yahoo id is:cosmo_the_driver

Re: Java Games - I tried to transfer a .jar file to the phone via bluetooth (cable was at home), but the Games/Apps folder does not show, so I dropped it in the Others folder, but when I go to the file the only options I get are to send it on or delete it.

So, I'm still stumped as to how to get .jar files from pc to Games folder.

shame about the text tone not being customisable or loud
has anybody figured out a way to put java games on yet?
                            thanks

                                To Red,
I was thinking the same thing. The message tone is very quiet. I've swicthed the vibrate on so it rattles across my desk. That is a pain that there is no adjustment for it.

Got the phone yesterday and I love it. One annoying thing is that the phone memory allows you to add 1000 contacts... yet it only allows 7 Groups with 20 contacts per Group. Now my maths aren't great... but what do I do with all my poor friends who are not assigned to a Group... they will be so upset! ;)

Does anyone else have the same problem I'm having? The text message alert is totally inaudible and there doesn't appear to be any way to increase the volume. You can change the volume of most of the tones, but not text message alert, I can't continue to use the phone if this is the best it can do, I'm missing important texts because I just don't hear it.

                                      Please help!

errmmm ....there is NO expandable memory (memory card slot) on this phone, and only has 1.3 mp camera!

COULD HAVE done much better than this lg ..come on!
