I have a quick question. I live in the states working for a cell phone company. We purchased the LG phones but the model says MG800d but I've only seen KG800 and so on. The KG is the closest to the MG they are exact. But my concern is it won't work properly in the US because its a international phone? Its not even listed anywhere like its consider "Coming Soon" on the lgmobile.com website.....Just curious its a sexy phone thats about it...confusing...cant read manual in spanish.

I absolutely hated this phone, it is very hard to text and the T9 sucks. Even when you add words into your dictionary they do not come up again. When looking through text messages my phone almost always froze, after having it for 6 months it froze and I had too turn it off back on again only it wouldn't turn back on!! very frustrating. I don't think I'll ever buy another LG

i got this phone in white, 2weeks later i had to send it off to be repaired. i have put up with it now for 12months and sent off for repairs 7 times, i cant wait to get a new phone just undecided at the minute im thinging lg again (for some reason) the lg shine but would advise against lg kg800

Well I just got this phone.. and i've only used it once... coz im gettin it for a pressie 4 xmas.
i tested it out nd i rekon it was pretty easy to use the touch navigation. the photo quality was fine, it looks so gr8, and i dont get ppl that always say its SOOO annoying 2 use the touch pad.. i rekon its simple. :) overall- i was almost NOT gunna get this fone, but now, im glad i did. :D i luv it.

I'm considering this phone and I really don't know whether or not to get it. I'll read a good recommendation, and then I'll see a bad one.
I really don't think it's that BAD. I mean, I'd rather have this than the some phone with an LSD screen

i am shure that fone has 2 mega,not 1.3.the photos are so good...instead that the memory could be less but with memori stick

That phone really sucks, the control with the touchpad navigation is really bad, you can missclick anytime u are using the touchpad:) Its almost NOT possible to control the phone with the touchpad.

Well, I have owned an LG Chocolate phone since last December (2006) and I have to say for the first few months I was very pleased with it! It's a beautiful phone, I honestly don't think there has ever been a better looking phone! Being a girl, I like the fact that it's so slim and light, it always atracts comments and admiring looks and it's easy to use. It has also served me well, until about 2 months ago.
From the very beginning I had problems with sound, it was quite difficult to hear the caller on the other end, despite having the volume turned up to the max. I was quite disappointed with the camera too; ok - so it's only a 2mp camera, but despite using the correct settings (and there are lots to choose from) my pictures were never true colour! Also the zoom function (supposedly x4) wouldn't operate above x2.
However, being primarily a mobile phone, that didn't bother me too much as I have a perfectly fine 8mp digital camera! My main problem was the WSOD - that's the White Screen Of Death. Oh dear. After about 9 months, my screen went white whenever I slid the screen up, which meant I was literally unable to do anything, as the menus would obviously be obscured under this white screen. Upon sliding the screen back down into closed position, the screen would return but I'd then have x4 mini screens, very odd!
I took the phone back to the Orange shop who said they'd be able to return the phone to LG for repair. Despite having a 12 month warranty (remember I'm in month 9), I had to pay £15 for repair and had to put down a further £50 deposit for a courtesy phone - a prehistoric Sony Ericsson T68!!! I am pretty sure that the T68 is not worth £50, but knowing I'd get my deposit back, I paid seeing as I didn't want to be without a mobile phone for 3 weeks - which despite telling me I'd have my phone back in 5 days, was the length of time it actually took.
I mentioned the sound problems and was told that they'd get LG to sort that out too. I was soo pleased to have my LG back after several weeks of tring to master the T68! The screen had been fixed (apparently a very common fault, the flex connecting the two parts of the phone is broken by the usual wear and tear) but I was still experiencing sound problems. And that's not all! The battery life bars are quite temperamental, one minute they're full, the next it's empty and flashing and then it's back up to two bars! I also find that I'm having to charge it more often, I never had these problems before.
So, my advice is - think carefully about buying this phone - sure, it's great to look at and it does have some great features. I have just cancelled the remainder of my 12 month contrat with Orange and I've just ordered a Samsung G600 - wooop wooop! x

yessss i rekomend to get this fone especially the white i had a white won,, loved it but it got stolen.....but i did have a few problems with it but i recon it was becoz i bought it through ebay from hong kong for like but it was a awesome fone......

I have ONE HOUR left to decide about getting this phone!!
I'm pretty sure I want it, even though SO many people say it's total rubbish, ut Im willing to take the risk!! BUT..
what colour should I get?! Pink or White?
The white is so cool, it looks awesome and sleek, but the pink! Geez i love pink hehe. Dunno if I would get bored with white or get sick of the pink.
So tell me QUICK which one i should get!!

I have had this phone for about 5 months and so far i havent had many problems. i dropped the phone and after thta it stated shutting itself of, but after i took the batery out and and put it back in that problem stopped. i have also been haivng alot of "network busy" issues and oncationaly i wont get any of my text messages all day and then at 10 at night i will get a bunch form tohrughout the day. overall i love this phone, i find alot of its functions very usefull and i love thta look of it. i tihnk that alot of my problems have to do with the sercive... and not the phone itslef.

I have had the phone for nearly a year now.
I like it but have had a few problems.Its been sent away but hasnt really fixed the problem.
Not all the phone are like that ... My friend has one and hasnt had any problems with it ... so far!

you know guy's i had this phone for 6 months, actually i really love it bfore spacially when it's still in the market but now i have it it's gives alot of stress it's keep on and off, bright like silver light, hung off suddenly, frozen everytime i delete the message. i'm a phone collector but this is the worse phone i've ever had. from the 1st 1 week the problem started to come out and i brought already at the service center of globe but still the same...... maybe it's give's us a great look but be wise everytime you buy a mobile phone. i stop my sister to buy this phone coz they will gonna lost money for this stressable LG KG 800s Made in KOrea!!!!! anniong ha seo, kumsahameda to LG to release this beautiful outside but inside is raten phone in the market!!!!........

It's a pretty phone and that's why I like it. But after a few months, mine started getting frozen and turning off by itself.
