to pw13 who was having trouble with hearing her message tone. it is a very quiet message tone anyway but to change the volume of the tone you have to go to profiles-general or loud etc- activate- then scroll down to effect sound volume and change it there.

Can you have a ringtone for each phone book entry? I can only find the ringtone option for groups and not a single entry and it's irratating me. I hope this phone can do that. Anyone know how?

I just got this phone and a lot of extra stuff to play the mp3s, and I love it! But I can't figure out what I have to do to get it to play in my car since I don't have the (auxillary??) plug in my car radio. I think I have to go through the lighter like an ipod, do they make this attachment yet? Any ideas?

Hello all KG800 users,
I got the Chocolate for Christmas and i was wondering if anyone could help me figure out how to get the names of my contact numbers saved on my SIM and PHONE to show up on my incoming calls without adding the country code to my 300+ contacts..by adding the country code infront my contact numbers is the only way i'm getting the contact's name to show up on my incoming calls and this is quite tedious if i have to do this for 300+ contacts...Feel free to e-mail me at anil_bsingh@hotmail.com ...THANKS

love the phone but the text tone is so quiet I can never hear it. There doesn't seem to be a volume control for text alert either. No-one has mentioned this before so not sure if it's my phone! Thanks

And some people wondered why the end key was on the side rather than on the touchpad?
When you are making a call, the touchpad is deactivated. If the end call button is on the touchpad, you wouldnt be able to end the call by yourself. Thats why LG had integrated the end call button on the side.
Happy New Year

This phone is like an USB if you want to put music into the phone.
Connect the cable that came with the phone from the phone to the computer. Then wait for the computer to recognise the phone and go to windows explorer, you should see an extra drive (Removable disk or something similar). Double click on that drive and you will see a folder called "My media". Double click "My media" folder again, you will see several folders inside. One of them is called "Music". Drag any music files in your computer to that Music folder. When done, disconnect the cable and you have the MP3s in your phone.

My wife gave me this phone for christmas and I have to say that I really like it, I know there's not that much space for mp3s, but enough to get 1 or 2 cds in there. Plus all the features are awesome and work just fine. Only down side (if you chose to go that way), it doesn't have a radio nor does it has an external memory slot. But besides that, it works great.

I've seen a lot of people askin for help on how to get music onto the KG800 so thought i'd help out. I had this problem for ages, what u do is instead of connecting the phone to the computer and synchronising it (you know, when you go onto 'connectivity' on your phone and switch 'modem' on) just plug it directly into the computer through the usb cable and it will show up in 'my computer' as a usb device, removable disk. from there click into it and into the 'my media' folder and you have a bunch of folders such as 'music' videos' and 'photos'. From here just copy the files from your computer such as your mp3 files and paste them into the folders. Took me ages to figure it out lol but there it is, hope i helped :).
