I got this type of phone sice 2006,and I think that is a very good phone.If you maintain the phone properly it will work very well.

This is the worst phone ever... da internet on it don't work n da network with dis phone is CRAP!!! DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT GETTIN IT, IT'S NOT WORTH IT!!!

nah...this phone is lousy...doesn't work properly....i had it only for a few months n it's giving me hell of problems....Don't ever buy it...

Please,i love my LG KG800.can som1 tell me what to do.i was using the phone then later i stoped using and slided back to normal positn an kept it in my pocket and the battery was fully charged but later that day,i noticed i had not received a call so i reached for d phone in my pocket and saw that d phone has been off for a reason i dont know.can som1 pls tell me what to do.

I bought one used in Baghdad, after reading positive reviews about the reception. I am very pleased with the connectivity, the phone receives calls where most others will not, and seems to drop calls less often. Now in Afghanistan, I'm using it for GPRS internet very successfully, albeit slowly due to the infrastructure. Battery life sucks, but the thing was a year or so old when I got it. Overall I'm quite happy with it, for $150. Plus it has cool Arabic characters on the keys. :)

I have mine ... moreI no exactly what you mean about these rubbish phones iv had mine for about a year and the battery life is like...well, lets just say it does not last for more than 3 hours. i put it next to a magnet now and all the colours are mixed up... i am in fully agreemen t with u and lg should pull their pants up !!!! i do like the lg shine but not yet had a chance to get it yet. Is it any good xxx

i think its a good phone despite what everyone says...i've had the phone two years, its still working perfectly. n btw if u keypad doesn't light up you have it on powersaver mode. only downside to this phone is that it doesn't have much memory (esp for songs).

This must be the crappest phone on the market! I have mine for two years now. Battery life is shocking, had to replace it after about a year, and no improvement. The phone tends to "hang" switches of by itself, keypad does not light up, sms-ing is a shlebb, photo quality is poor (flash stays on like a flash light!)
It is a good looking phone, but that is about it! I would not recommend this phone.

My friend recomended this phone for me and I might be getting it for my birthday. It looks like a great phone, I like the red touch pad the best.

Messaging is annoying. Touchscreen can be a hassle sometimes. It's okay phone for just calling, it wil get you around for awhile as it did for me for about 1-2 years. Oh, and during that time i had to replace the battery. Overall, I wouldn't buy this phone again :)
