Regarding the previous post, you can also use your own custom pictures for contact pictures. It is a bit more complicated though.
You have to take the picture in 72x72. And then connect the phone, and replace the fresh picture with your own picture that is exactly 72x72 pixels and also in 24bit-bmp file format. You must replace the file -- in other words, save it as the same name as the fresh photo.

If you plug the charger into the phone and the phone switches off (not on stand-by, just completely off) then you've got a faulty charger, go back to the shop and ask for a replacement charger.
Scratch wise, i've had mine for a couple of months and I haven't scratched it yet. I keep mine in the cool pouch that it came with so it's always safe.
To add a photo to a contact you must take the photo in 72x72 resolution. Only photos taken by the phone in this res can be used for Photo Caller ID.

what? you can turn it on while charging! well, i can turn mine on. however, if you mean when charging on the computer, via the usb cable, i can't turn it on while plugged into the pc. hmm

I just started using this phone. Its pretty cool, one of the good phone from LG. the function and all are similar to Nokia Phones. Camera is quite good too. But i don't know why is it that when i'm charging my phone, the phone can't be switched on. Anyone know why?

It's a very sylish phone. I love it. Very userfriendly. Basic but brilliant. Definately a Winner. Battery life needs a bit of work though. Very classy...

Hello anyone knows how to add a Picture (photo) to an specific contact, when I tried it only tells me AGENDA PHOTO EMPTY but I have already took some pictures. I don't know if I have to saved on an special folder or what to do?

Ok, Im having problems deciding between the LG Choc and the Samsung E900 I love all the extras for the E900, the 2 megapixel and the memory cards etc..but i think the LG Choc looks slighly better..I really like both the phones for the touch sensitive pads, i think thats the way of the future!! But the E900's number butons are slightly smaller then the LG Choc..May have to go for the E900?? SOMEONE HELP!!

Can anyone advise how to download a 72x72 bmp file as contact picture? It appears only the phone-camera taken photos can be used as contact pictures, but I cannot assess the internal memory folder where the camera photos are stored.
