Andy B - To use the pc software you need to enable Modem mode on the phone (check the user manual). If you don't do this then the phone will stay in mass storage mode (aka memory stick mode) when plugged into your PC.
Gemma, dave - If you like the e900 then fair enough. i've looked at the phone in a shop and found it very plasticky and it is thicker than the choc so it isnt necessarily smaller. Also, in terms of looks the Choc wins hands down! I personally didn't like e900 and am glad i've bought a choc but each to their own.

Is anybody else having a problem with the names showing up when people call you. I have all my contacts saved on my sim and when some people call me the names doesnt pop up on the phone just the number does. So tried saving all the number on to the phone memory and it still does the same thing. Anybody else having this problem?

hi i was going to get this handset but i ended upgrading to the samsung e900 and my freing got the kg800 iam glad i stuck to my choice has i prefer smaller handsets and this is a little smaller and i also prefer samsung to lg

Got one last week. There's only 4 message tones that I can figure out how to set and they're all almost silent. Earphones bulky and the buttons along the cable don't work. Can't get the S/W to work with the phone on Win2K. MP3 player good.

I do reccommend this phone, i've never regretted buying it!! everybody that has seen it thinks it is brilliant. p.s. i know i grumbled earlier, but it really is a good phone.

how did u work out the talk time was longer wen the lg has 6hrs talk time and the e900 has 3hrs 30mins!!!

I've had this phone for about 4 weeks now. i like the phone it good, gets a bit awkward to handle if your hands are sweaty. you cant create sub folders in video folder. apart from that a good phone. Oh yeah, to take photos and use them as contact you need to reduce the resolution of your camera 72 x 72. and t-mobile havn't updated their files yet to allow kg800 to download

guys i dunno mean to be rude but the e900 samsung has just come out and its miles better theres a bak lite on it and its much smaller and the talk time is miles better i should no i work at o2.....

yes it has a hole for the charm bcoz u get a screen cleaner with it to attach to that hole too.

There is no such thing as a DUMB or cosmetically nice PHONE but there are always a DUMB and cosmetically nice USERS.LOL

hello every one, looking at purchasing this phone later on today, has any one had problems with the phone getting scratches on the plastic? Normaly the phone lives in my pocket and was wondering how it would survive. I dont put keys coins etc in the same pocket as the phone.

hi sylvia,
1. that is how the alarm is meant to be, for one is to wake you up every morning and it must be effective.
2. try to take photos for phone contact, there is an option in your camera setting to take photos for contact, anyway there is a manual to help you. Hope you can figure it out.

Based on the comment here, i bought the phone! It's great. But i do have a few question which i hope you guys could help.
1) Is there any way to lower the volume for the alarm? Every morning I'll jump whenever the alarm rings!
2) How do i attach photo to my contact? It say 'phone book picture empty'
