hey guys! im planning to buy this phone but having doubts. my first lg phone is the cookie and it hangs a lot. the battery is drains less than a day and all my settings disappears. so i have to sell it in less that a month, are there any problems with this model? please help. thanks

hi again thanks for answering my first post, can you please help me again on how to install the opera mini v5 on my phone.. i have already downloaded it from the site but i could not install the software on the phone.. am i suppose to download the opera mini using the phone? coz downloaded om5 in my pc but then, i could not properly install it on the phone..

hi i just bought LG KM55e phone yesterday and i just wanna ask if the opera mini v5 beta is compatible with my unit.. if not, are there any alternative software i could install in my phone so that i can browse the net for free and where can i download it? ohh and, can i use opera mini even if there are no wi-fi signal near my unit? help please.. thanks a bunch!

dbron, 16 Jun 2010 you can use the default browser of the phone for youtube ... morehi...i cannot connect to the internet...it always says connecton failed...the screen shows wi fi and it stopped there.thanks

Make sure to configure the outgoing mail server correctly, this is the outgoing server of the ISP that you're connecting to and not necessarily your email provider's. The incoming and outgoing mail server will be different if your using a different email provider than your ISP

drewboi, 21 Jun 2010How long does your battery last? How did you initially charge it?for the first 2 charges battery was so bad , but now it is good , it last for 3 days , i drain the battery fully till the phone shuts off then i charge it , this way increases the battery lifetime significantly and you will notice difference and for maximum results leave the phone turned off when charging.
p.s : i charged my phone last thursday at night and today is tuesday and the phone is still working :D

yup, you can install apps like opera or bolt browser. I haven't tried skyfire on this fone yet since I'm fine with bolt and opera

hi all , i recently bought the phone and it is gr8 but i have some concerns :
1.battery meter isn't accurate.(it doesn't bother me)
2.camera doesn't save my customised settings.
3.cannot zoom in web browser , also i found a bug in the web browser, when i enter any site and try to write my user name and password i tilt the phone so i can use the full keyboard , the problem is i hit the buttons but no text appear in the text box.
4.java is a bit slow actually slower than my alcatel ot 800 but it doesn't bother me,the real problem is that u can't use java with mp3 player on.
so i sent e-mail to lg asking about new software update that fixes these issues but they didn't reply currently i am having SW version v10f which happens to be the latest.
so my concern will there b a new sw to fix these problems or there will be not ?
