Hi, i tried a plastic demo version today and the clickwheel and middle button felt quite flimsy. How does the real one feel? I didn't get a chance to check it out because they were currently out of stock.

van if your experience some mms problems, i know that if you're using tmobile u need to configure your phone first and u can do that on the tmobile website. if you have att im not so sure how u would configure it but i would assume it'd be the same way either u can contact your service provider or if they have an online configurator would be the solutions i'd look into.

I had this phon... moreI have been using this phone for about a month and I feel that it is not as bad as mentioned by amir.Just need some time to get used to it.
Firstly, yes you may accidentallly activate the mp3 player when you slide the phone up but for my case, it doesn't play music immediately. It goes to the MP3 player menu for you to choose to go to All songs, playlist, Artists, Albums etc. If you want to get out from there, just press the end call key to return to standby screen. To get out of the menu, just pressing the end call key will do the job.
For me, I think the battery life is fine. I use it to play music or radio about 5 to 6 hours a day and I only have to recharge it once every two days.
My phone alarm works fine too. Maybe the problem lies with individual handsets.
As for SMS sending, mine doesn't ask that question which you mentioned. After typing the message, pressing the left soft key or centre round ok key will come to a menu that allows us to choose 'send to' to go to the recipients. Upon reaching there, pressing the left soft key 'options' will allow us to insert recipients from 'contacts' or 'recent list'.
You can also personalise your profiles:Press the left side of the ring in the centre to go to the profiles. Press the left soft key 'options' to activate or personalise your profile.
I do hope these will help you in enjoying your experience with this phone more. Give it a chance. I think it's quite a good phone.

Think about buying this phone!? Forget it!
I had this phone for a short period of two weeks. But it killed me during that short time!
It should be music base (According to that “M” letter in the model number) but unfortunately any time you slide it to open accidentally you press the music button! And it starts singing! Even in the middle of a meeting! And getting out of that menu is a long story!!! The 4 touch buttons are silly sensitive and are NOT customizable!
Short battery time is a real hell! You have to recharge it even twice a day!
There is something wrong with alarm clock as well. I think it should be a bug or something.
SMS sending is a pain! It keeps asking: “what you want to do with this new message!!!” what should I do? I want to SEND it for god sake! And no recent contact is available ever time for every SMS you should look up your phone book which only searches the Name ONLY on their Last Name!
You don’t have much choice using this phone. No customizable menu even profiles are all preset!
You can turn that rolling circle button in the middle of the phone and enjoy the sound! That’s all!!!

i have it,its a nice phone with alot of features so d battery runs down very quickly but it sure is a flashy fone!!! i am in love with my fone.oh and d camera is very clear,the music is loud but it doesnt have much bass and that makes d sounds a bit high pitched..otherwise its perfect
