ned, 19 Jul 2009i posted this question the other week (down below)... . It ... moreI am using the phone in Canada as well. I just got my phone last week. Have you been charge by your wireless provider with the R? I just hope i don't get change for this roaming thing when i'm not even Roaming..
Does anyone know how to connect to the internet with this phone through your data plan and not through WIFI?.

elle, 19 Jul 2009sorry, i had no idea how to help with the Roaming thing. :(... moreyea elle its realy suck.. i just hope its well add in the next firmware to modified this issue.. like if you write a message and if there a message receive its nice to vibrate only or make a tone.. like other phone/brand..

AJAY, 19 Jul 2009try using bolt browser streaming video over wifibolt browser can't stream youtube over wifi.. it can open youtube site but when you wanna watch the video its well download to your phone.. then you can watch..

what annoys ME is that every single time i get a new text, a message box pops up telling me EVENT: 1 new message, then the name of the sender. I mean, what if i'm typing while i get messages? it's really annoyning having to press cancel on that event box.

I agree with the comment below. it is a great fone and fun to use..its even an eye catcher to people around you since the cube is not that many out there yet. its slick and classy (sizewise).. more often i get comments on the look and the home screen cube. all in all its a great fun phone until something comes up again with a newer look. with regards to my posting about R icon roaming..im use to it now... its there but it doesnt annoy me as much as before. my iphone is stocked-away.

gregory, 19 Jul 2009i buy this phone definitely. this more iphone killer than t... morethe 5800 xpress music wasn't even supposed to be marketed as an iPhone killer. it's way too midrange and it's way too Nokia (ergo, functional but boring.) the arena i think was marketed as an iPhone killer, since it's got so many similarities and upgrades that the iPhone doesn't have.

dear Ggkp, thanks for your reply, i am fm Q8 & i brought this phone a couple of days ago and just gettin to know more of it, i do not know what firmware it has & dont know how to chek and change it, if u wud help me to have the latest firmware installed to watch YouTube, it wud b v helpful. thanks anyways.

im thinking of buying this phone but im not 100% sure on what i should do. it has plenty of features but im not sure if its going to be reliable. i currently have a LG phone now and its reliable for my but im not too sure about this phone. Dont want to be paying $100 a month for this phone if it wont work

i posted this question the other week (down below)... . It weird tho but my phone service provider assured me that its a glitch on the mobile ohone itself, since we in Canada dont have any roaming within the country itself. however, it would be nice to see the R icon disappear since its annoying.

Got my arena from HK fortress on my way home to Canada. it works well so far..altho i need help on one annoying thing. THERE IS A LETTER R icon which means ROAMING. But im not on roaming, im on my home turf. the manual has no instructions as to how to get rid of the R icon. can some please help?

Bought this phone a few weeks ago and after having the 5800, tocco and pixon i really love it.
Don't get me wrong it takes a good few weeks to get used to and the software has its own little quiks that will annoy the hell out of you but once you get used to it and actually learn how to work it i can honestly say it's the best touchscreen i have had. The touch is very fast very smooth with almost no delay and the music playback is WOW!
All in all a cracking phone from LG with a few tweeks to the software this could be right up there
