the processor is a AMD dual core infineon, i dont know what the speed is but the phone has 1GB RAM dedicated to the processor - its renowned to be the best processor on the market

You should call this the most buggy phone of the last 3 years.
I never had one with more bugs (beside the Siemens SXG75) like this phone (can we call it PHONE?).
It resets itself, it locks randomly, it disconnects while transferring data via USB, BT or WLAN.
Camera locks up and has an awful shooting time...hey...is LG using stuff from year 1990?
And try to play the high prised DIVX....
One more thing...the battery...lol...it holds for almost 12 hours..wow...
Just inform yourself in forums how many people had all this problems... i think LG should better take this phone from market!

is anybody else experiencing a really bad video recording quality (lot's of horizontal lines like if you watch a tv or a PC monitor trough your camera)?

im hopefully gettin this phone later on 2day! im with o2 and the only way i can upgrade to this phone is to do it thru carphone warehouse as o2 stores dont have it. i did ring them and ask if they wud be getin it but they dont think they are. im very excited about gettin this phone! jsut hope my 10wk old daughter sleeps long anough for me to have a good play with it and discover all its features! ive only ever had SE's so making the change is a hard descision...but about time i think!!

Ive also looked on o2 website they dont seem to have this phone, how did people upgarde? was it through the shops or phone?

THIS PHONE IS AWESOME, I work at carphone warehouse, got this phone yesterday and im very very impressed, easy to use, functions smooth.... you wont be disappointed!

Stupid Device!!!
I have bought. It was a big mistake :S
no Yahoo, no MSN, no Fring, in brief no programs at all for this LG device..!
the GPS in this mobile is A-GPS only!
it doesn't worth the money.. it's just a toy
moreover, it doesn't support alot off video files
and its browser (******) its not mobile edition or explorer or opera.. so many pages cannot support you!
I know it has the best video recorder I've seen
and although the camera its 5mp but it's much better than 8mp Sony Mobile (tested)
S-calss looks okay.. with some delay!!! :(
the G-Sensor is rubbish..some thimes you have to shake the mobile or turn it upside down many times before move! especailly when you use the freeken browser
Hence, if you like sleek small device and also you got a lot of many to wast, LG Arena it's the right answer for the bad question!

Hi guys i am looking at gettin this phone on my upgrade over the weekend. I will be gettin it on orange, has anyone had any problems with software through orange??? is it true they dont allow access to all the software?

I work in a uk phone shop, I have had 2 weeks of playing with this handset instore and am buying mine today!! I had the LG rep in this week, and he tells me that i rather large software update is on its way!! Also Orange Uk seem keen to make life hard for phone users!! every time they release a phone that they brand , they remove key applications, where people like 02 give whole package!! ORANGE STOP RIPPING US OFF!!! Great phone if you like touch, I just sold mu iphone! i dont miss it and looking forward to owning the Arena
