Well happy with it so far, had SE and Samsung for the last 6 years and it was a big step for me to choose this but it's a great little piece of kit. My only real gripe is i'm not to keen on the browser I just think it needs some getting used to it, I have no idea what 'Wheel Mania' is for in M-Toy but everything else I have seen I am happy with and I have probably only discovered about a 5th of what it does, just today I found out it has an FM transmitter!! Haha, I sooo need to read the instruction guide!

Hey all,
Just waiting for this phone to be delivered! Cant wait...it was a hard choice between the renoir and the arena but i think i chose correctly...anyone think i didnt? why?
Main question is...can u install applications on this phone (widgets etc...) just like the iphone? Please answer! If so, where do u go to download em? Cheers

Mattsbury, 08 Apr 2009jordy, do you mean when you have put it down and after arou... moreThats exactly what I mean, I hear what your saying about the battery saving but my only gripe is that you have to use either the on/off switch or volumn control to start the phone and I am worried about the wear on the buttons by doing this all the time.
Are you a silver or black and do you like the phone? I do, for waht I need its a fantastic little touch phone.
I do have one issue though that on wifi you can't stream the videos say in youtube on the phone "wifi not supported", but I believe this is common to alot of phones - shame though.

jordy, do you mean when you have put it down and after around 30 secs it goes black and locks? i think maybe you can change the backlight to be on for longer but i like it, saves battery life.

Good phone, had it since Saturday. Still working out how to use it, just getting used to texting and it's both fine with keyboard and normally. The keyboard, yes its small but so long as your finger is over the right letter (even it if overlaps onto other letters) it will still select it. Still working out how to add things to my widget page as I have no idea. In reply to someone below it's not great under direct sunlight (are any phones) Sound is good, very impressed with the music player and radio both give very good sound and vids look great.
If anyone has any questions then please fire them at me and I will try to answer

camera and video quality not up to much....actually its quite pathetic compared to the sony ericsson c905 which my friend "the one" has.wish i took advantage of the 7 day return policy and exchanged it for the c905! im soooooooooo jealous of "the ones" c905,and im consumed with rage at LG for making me look like a fool in front of "the one"

On the videos the qwerty keyboard in landscape mode seems quite small, but you probably can use your nail ? My Pixon is better for that because the keys on the screen are big

I really wanted this phone but reading the comments below it seems texting is a major problem. No matter how great the phone is if you cant call or text easily then it useless!
Im disappointed, i really wanted this and have been offered the phone free on an upgrade. but not sure if im going to take it now.

No Touchscreen colibration either, so if it goes scew-wiff you cannot re-adjust the touchscreen, evert touch-screen i have ever had (5) has had this feature which is a must. Shamefully bad, browser is poor, everything else good.

i had a little play with arena for a while with the lg rep and i just cant tezt on it at all. the keyboard and keypad display is well to small for my hands. there was a child in store that i gave a try to and she was able text. so unless your 9 or have tiny digets this is not the phone for you. i did love everything else about thou and the media player is bril
