Can anyone comfirm if this phone has privacy passwords?
so that anyone cant read messages etc?

In actual fact, the LG GD900 which has the worlds first glass transparent keypad is much better than the Arena. A video on the Lg GD900 showed that the screen was a capacitive touchscreen and has multi-touch (I know the LG Arena has it too). The GD900 has a8 megapixel camera, touch-sensitive keypad and of course the same S-Class UI. Apart from the 3.5mm headjack, I think the GD900 is better than the Arena and MUCH better than the Iphone 3g.If you are worrying about the keypad that it might break, this sentence will clear your worries(maybe): LG have confirmed that the glass keypad will be a tempered hard glass. Is that enough? The GD900 will also follow the 8 meagpixel lineup.(You know what that means,right?)

the music player; i've added 3GB album's .
# just 1 out of 10 cover-arts are recognized. haven't found out yet what exactly makes it visible (except the id-tag in the song)
# the seek funktion is a mess, compared to sonys symbian g900 and the walkman w880. some albums are divided into 2 or 3. scroling thru 30 albums's is a pain. when your looking into an album to see what's on and than go back out, then you're back at the beginning of the list and can start scrolling again.
# on the favorite side of the cube, i can only add songs, not albums.
# the player there is a complete different, to the standard player. i can't click from a playing favorite song to the complete album. even can't use any multitasking with this "second" player

is it a symbian smatphone? cwhat kind of applications can it install.? symbian or java.? can it install 3rd party apps, the one nokia phone does (symbian) like advanced device lock, rotateme, call recorder, msdictionary etc etc.!

Can any owners help? I have managed to start putting albums on my phone, however I just have a question when my album is put on it dosen't show any album artwork just a standard cd picture. Is possible to have album covers? As an expample, like on the ipod touch?

i've been now playing around with for a day.
# i don't see the problems with typing on the touch screen. i don't type any slower than on my n80, g900 or c902. of course there are better keyboards than these, that allow faster typing.
# all menus are running smooth and there are no annoying delays.
# the browser is nice - better than the symbian opera of the g900. i've installed the mini opera, but don't see the point to use it. the resolution is fantastic.
# there is a virtual 5-way-pad popping up in java apps, that allows to control the menus. (don't know how to make it pop up, when i need it .. :-) )
# (--) i can't find a sync application to sync with an internet server. (is there one on the renoir ?)
# (--) the calender-app is something you have to get used to, when you're into symbian phones for years.
# there is no need to use a stylus. the phone can be controlled with the thumb only. but it is impossible to use it with a stylus - it's hard to place a cursor in a text between two LL's with a fat thumb, and there is no 5way-pad to move it.
# the widget section has just these 9 icons and nothing more. the shortcut section has 44 apps to choose from, but just 9 to use - no scrolling - no chance to use more.
# GPS isnt't recognized by google maps. nav4all (free routing app) is working, but also can't find the gps. - yet :-)
# photo: the quality is good and it's also way faster than the sony g900 and c903.
# can't get 3's mobile TV running. "not suppoted" error.
# have i mentiond the display ? :-) :-P

The arena unlocked handset will cost about £350 in the uk.

Does anyone know how I can get a digital klock on there? I don't want the analog clock wich is on there now. Furthermore is a great thing, just been trying it for 4 hours. Bye Iphone.......

This phone is a iphone copy. DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE. If you are looking for a very good touchscreen phone, get the samsung tocco ultra edition, best phone i ever had.

I remember my first phone 6510 with small black and white screen would last me nearly a week.
