A pretty adiquate phone is all I can say about it. And its well worth the price you pay for it. If Iphone wants to outclass this device apple needs to come up with FM radio and a higher resolution camera.

varry, 25 Aug 2010hey, is there anyone who has this phone longer than 1year a... moreTO Varry>>>
i still use my LG KM900 Arena for 1 year, 7 months and 25 days to be exact....
Fortunately, there are no issue or problems at all...
By the way, i changed my firmware to V1010p (so valled iRena firmware, icons and start up is the same as iPhone original firmware released in UK, since the Arena was first released and announced in UK) very much stable and no problems at all...
the only thing that bothers, or should i say i can not remove is the D-Pad(arrows left, right, up, down and OK button below the screen to control the games) when playing games (but not all games) there are some sites who offers full touch screen games without the D-Pad navigator....
after updating the firmware everything seems more responsive and effective as the LG claimed...
Hope this will help you decide....
Enjoy and PEACE.

Going on 8 months with this phone! I live in the Caribbean, Trinidad and Tobago specifically. I'm in the young adult user category.
It's been working so perfectly. I am so happy I chose this one, I have no regrets. The screen is big and the display is crisp with vibrant colors, my videos look perfect in 16:9 and I can put HD quality vids on it (although the dimension must be 720x480 or less, but the phone allows you to stretch it back to 16:9).
It's not for people who know nothing about video codecs and conversion. This phone is not "easy to use" for people who don't know anything about technology, ok, so please buy a cheaper phone with few features if you don't know your stuff, and please don't come and leave discouraging reviews for others, when your only problem was ignorance. Remember this phone is from South Korea, where youths know about their technology and how to manipulate it.
The sound is incredible, whether you use the normal sound or dolby, the experience with videos and music on this phone is almost as good as on my computer. WiFi works great, I can also stream youtube videos if I use Bolt browser. The download manager for the browser is very efficient, I have downloaded files 300mb+ on this phone from Megaupload etc with no problem.
The battery lasts me a long time. I would play a bunch of my videos in full 16:9 with Dolby sound as well and loud volume, and listen to music afterwards, and only one bar would go down. People who have battery problems probably did not follow the instructions when they just got the phone. When you buy the phone, the first thing you must do is charge it for at least 16 hours.
What else...you can view your text files and PDFs comfortably on the Arena. Your pictures will look perfect as well and you can zoom in and out using the pinch gesture. CAMERA: It takes very decent pictures and there are quite a few options including turning off auto-focus, which is very helpful. You can also record videos with the flash--as in, it turns on and stays on until you've finished recording the video.
The S-class interface is stylish while being efficient, and it makes it easy to organise everything. That's all for now, I hope this helped someone.

toni, 16 Aug 2010Hi guys. I bought this phone 4 months ago....to say I have ... moreit seems like my arena when I got it in my hand for the very first time. And the problems will increase if I change usim card with other from different provider
my suggestion is visit LG repair centre to update firmware with the lastest which available to your country. Then do yourself 3X factory reset.
if your screen always off on calling mode, try to calibrate the proximity sensor.
hope this can help...
cheers...

Hi guys. I bought this phone 4 months ago....to say I have had enough of the nonsense is an understatement. This is truly the most useless/problematic phone that I have ever used. IPhone clone my foot!!! The problems: It losses network so you have to keep rebooting it, it drops SMS's, you really cannot hang up after a call as the buttons lock, it wont stream any videos, it goes off, the screen goes blank while you are speaking...it just all goes black!!, the battery life is a joke, the software is appaling and though it is said to have a linux based software, it will not open any attachments, it will self erase your data...go figure.....this phone isnt worth your money or time....enough said!!!!

Dominique, 15 Aug 2010cdpj my >>>> im having the same prob too with t... moreTO Dominigue...
First try a soft reset, if you put your music at phone memory and still you can not view it after a soft reset then, a hard reset is advise, thus, you have to back up your data first before doing the hard reset...
Second, if you put your songs/music at your external storage (MICRO SD) try to switch off your phone and remove your baterry for about 3 to 5 minutes then put it back again and restart your phone, your memory card might not been identified by your unit. For matting the memory card is another optio. But make sure you have your music/songs saved at your computer before doing the format. Make sure to format the memory card at your LG Arena and not at your computer...
hope these would help...
if something happen, inform me.
