I think that it's generally a good phone. It does lag quite a bit, and sometimes it freezes, so u have to take out the battery, and put it in again. Also, u can't change the backround image. (U can change the image, but it's for when it's locked. When it's unlocked, the backround is boring. Also, the battery dies very quickly, after like 1 hour of videos, the battery dies. The same thing 4 if ur using the browser. Generally it's an ok phone, but I got quite disapointed about a few things: 1. the battery life. 2.The youtube quality (it sucks!) and 3. the camera quality. Sometimes the pictures r good, and other times the pictures look like they have been taken with a 2 megapixel camera. I recomend the phone 4 people that don't mind taking their battery out, every now and then, and for people that wan't a cheap iphone. (It's kinda the same as an Iphone)

MT, 18 Feb 2010It's good phone. But, it is slow! I mean Slow, really slow ... moreits defend on your firmwre you use.. you can change your firmware to the new one to make your phone fast..

my phone has been fine for few months had to send it off to repair last week as screen died and only way to use it was keep conecting it to mains. They upgraded the software i got it back yesterday and today it has same problem and are now going to change phone for me. Hopefully for something completely different. so if ur screan goes phone is kaput.

Dr. Sherif, 17 Feb 2010Thank for your reply, i'll try this after i get the phone b... moreno mater what your firmware vrsion is, you might need factory resets if your phone still have bugs after firmware update/refill. But if you're not satisfied with Arena perfomance afterall, try to look for another phone. Btw, Arena UI is more userfriendly than Jet.
Now I'm satisfied enough with my Arena perfomance. Factory reset is very usefull for me.

If you wanna change a ringtone just tap a sound file (but not the play icon) n there'll several option menu appear. And then choose "Use as" option menu. There you can make your selected sound file as a ringtone.

I have more problems w... morein my experience (with v10g firmware vrsion) doing sequential 3X factory reset (without sim & memory card inserted) from secret menu (1809#*900# from dialpad) may fix that kind problems. But it will wipe handset memory data off (sms, contact, images, etc) without any confirm. Even though after firmware update, you might need to do so, if that kind problems still appear.
Try it, if you think its necessary.

Hi,
I was considering to buy either this model or the GM750, although this model looks months older, seems its still better than the GM750 since it got a better video quality, screen & also supports DIVX...the problem is that I've read so many negative feed backs especially for this model & also the other one that left me completely blinded...poor battery life, software problems, screen etc...
I have the MDA WinMo & New battery lasts only for a day if used lightly, which is truly a drawback..
The Arena is gd priced if purchased from ebay Unlocked however the GM 750 retails for €329.00 from Vodafone & LOCKED! but 2yrs warranty...
Would really appreciate if those who own one can give me the last verdict.. :)
