What is the os being used in this phone??????????
I mean does it support any apps to be installed like sysbian & win device do....
I know this maybe a repeat question in this forum......
plzz suggest me as m panning to take this or nokia n97....
somebody told we can't watch youtube videos over wifi..is it true???
waht are other limitations...

Something to share, especially for who still new and not familiar with your LG PC Suite III.
Do you know that the LG PC Suite III also can act as "MP4 Video Format Converter"?
It means that we can use the PC Suite to convert the most known video format playback such as flv, avi, wmv and etc, which mostly does not supported by Arena. The procedure to convert our favorite video to MP4 video format through the PC Suite are as follows:-
1) Connect your Arena to LG PC Suite.
2) Open your favorite video files which saved in your PC folder.
3) Select your video files by tick the box beside the file name.
4) Place your mouse's pointer to the video files you selected.
5) Right click your mouse button and you will see the "Converting to MP4" option.
6) Just click to activate the MP4 video format conversion process.
7) Upon completion, you will see your new converted video files with extension ???.mp4.
The converted MP4 video format playback work fine and play a good quality video in my Arena. Have a good try.

CONFUSED, 24 Aug 2009which is way better? LG K900 Arena or n79? both has the sam... moreIf you look up my post Re. the problems I have had with the KM900 Arena, that should answer this question.
Nokia phones are generally very well built and reliable. This handset is evidentally not. So, go with the Nokia!

I've had a KM900 for around 4 months now, and although the spec is good, it's usability and the stability of the OS is awful.
Unfortunately this is the worst phone I've ever owned, so have switched back to my N95 and plan to sell the KM900 handset. Unfortunately I cant upgrade for another 12 months :(
I know the problems I have experienced are not due to a faulty handset, as my first KM900 was stolen and both the original and the replacement had the same problems.
So for anyone thinking of getting this handset, I stongly recommend against it. Although other owners will maybe defend their decision to buy it (like I first did), the benifits really dont outweigh the frustrations it will cause you!
Key problems are:
1. The buttons in the text message interface are far too small. After 4 months I still struggle and frequently hit the wrong key. It takes twice as long to type a message. The same button pad is used when browsing the web, making web browsing a slow and frustrating experience compared to when using other handsets.
2. The camera is extremely un-responsive. The camera in my 4 yr old Sony Ericsson was truely better. Often, when you press the capture button, nothing happens or the application just hangs.
3. Sometimes when the phone rings, the whole handset seems to lock up. I have then had to call the person back. This happens on average every other day.
4. The music gui is useless. You try to create a playlist and the first five letters of EVERY song are listed - you cant see the artist or album! When scrolling through artists, if you accidentally touch the wrong one, choosing 'back' will put you back at the top of the artist list :( Who designed this?!
5. The alarms intermitently DO NOT go off! Happens on average once every 2 weeks and when it does, I wake up late for work. So, they are unreliable, and therefore useless!
6. When browsing the video's on the phone (after converting them, as native DivX is NOT supported) you are simply shown a thunmnail of each - no video name or info is displayed next to each video, so when you have several videos, its impossible to know which video is which, so you have to spend ages playing each video and clicking Next, to find the one you want!
7. The phone frequently crashes to the point where you have to remove and re-insert the battery! This happens on average once every day. This problem alone is a good reason to avoid this handset.

the internet browser is alright. not too fast but not hair-pullingly slow either. it loads everything full page, so you have to zoom in every page. opera mini is better.
it can only play divx xvid through the converter.
