Something weird will happened when I access the analog clock in widget home screen...
We all known that when we access the analog clock in widget home screen, the date will pop up in middle of the clock widget. When you seeing the pop up date, remember don't blink you eyes :) and try to gaze the date for approximate 40 seconds. After that you will notice something abnormal will happen, the month will suddenly skip further. E.g. today date is 7 Aug 2009, the month in the clock widget will skip & change to 07 Sep 2009 after approx. 40 seconds elapsed.
Any mates here who read my post ever experienced and noticed this abnormal clock widget as mentioned above?

You meant we need to solve the issues ourself by updating the new firmware in a later date after bought the phone with so many bug?????
We're their royal customers, not part of their technical team to help them solve the issues. We spend the money to support and bought their products to use, not get frustrated and fed up after use their product. And furthermore need to act part of their technical team to solve the issues ourself.
I wonder why and what happened to LG technical team can released this such of lousy phone in market with so many bug which happened very frequently (hang, auto restart, auto shut down & etc)and made people suffer and frustrated after used the phone.

The phone is good as long as it is compared to other phones in the market other than the IPHONE, its wrongly named as the I phone killer.
Positives first. Great looks, light in weight, cool features listed.Nice camera shots, great music almost pleasant. Priced right,file manager,divx movies.8GB internal mem. + Ext 32GB MSD, other web and connectivity, call clarity.
Coming to the negetives there are so many like the PC suite dosent work on computers higher than WINXP SP2, I have a SP3 and it dosent work. So finally you need to use it like a pendrive in the Mass storage mode.
I own one and this is a sluggish phone hangs so very often that it gets frustrating at times. Poor battery backup, it dosent stay on more than 2hrs 30 mins call. If you use video or other multimedia, that drops... wrong display of 30hrs music its not so..Poor multitasking, better to say no multi tasking at all, hangs if you want to access anything else.
finally very few options avaialble on net as apps for the LG. Their S/W being soo not up-to-date many s/w bugs could be fixed but Its LG so not expecting.
Finally IMHO if you can spend on a good phone better go for IPHONE nothing likely to be anywhere near it.... The truth is all want to compete with the giant ;)...
I checked the IPhone its awesome,,,, I can say that but for better features like the bluetooth connectivity, call volume, were tweaked in the Iphone nothing that can beat it even for name sake..

Tikboi, 06 Aug 2009I recent bought this phone online and just waiting to come.... moreall phone or new phone have many bug in the first release.. but after a month and release of firmware fix bug you can enjoy the phone.. i think all problem can be fix.. just wait.. cheers good luck of your new phone.. hapy bday ^_^

MyArena, 05 Aug 2009Something really weird happened to my Arena when I played t... moreyea it does that to mine as well ae... i wander wat the problem is. it only happens to one or two tracks. i have to pause the song and re play again. but apart from that this phone is a killer! the only other phone i wud get is the samsung jet. lol who needs a smartphone? this phone rulz.

I have this phone and it is unbranded, altought as i am from portugal and from Vodafone i flashed it with vodafone firmware. One thing i don´t undrstand is why in the hell the weather widget doesn´t even appears in vodafone firmware and in anothers like europen open appears but doesn´t work?

the difference between the Omnia and the Arena:
1. Omnia has a bigger, albeit resistive, touchscreen--meaning you can use a stylus and nails / gloves with it. The Arena has a capacitive touchscreen, so it's got an iPhone-like response.
2. Omnia is kinda big, compared to the Arena. Heavier, too.
3. Omnia only has 65k colors (or 252k, i forget which) while the Arena has 16million colors.
4. Omnia is a windows mobile phone, while Arena...it's not a smartphone. It runs on the way prettier S-Class UI.
5. Imho, the omnia is old tech that's been overadvertised. Get the Arena! :D

Something really weird happened to my Arena when I played the music in random (R) mode. After listening few songs, there will be no sound come out from the player for subsequent track even though the player still in running or playing status:(
