I luv my pink cookie absolutely fab!!! theres like so much 2-do on the phone, i luv how it's so good at multi-tasking, and txting wiv this phone saves u so a lot of time, theres so many methods to type: a keypad like the ones on regular phones but hey when you can use handwritting and a keyboard y use the regular old stuff. I luv the widgets, and how the phone's so light and slim,the drawing panel is sooo appealing to me and the games are simply fab!!! good phone and great price for a touch screen, now dat I have this phone i've seen millions of people with it and plus it's very popular...

This phone is so cheap, when i saw this phone one of my frnd have purchased it, it had such a big screen , with so many features...
though the battery backup is little poor otherwise this cell is awesome. Its worth Rs.9350.
I am accumulating money to buy this set, though in my past i've never used any camera phone also but KP500 have changed my mind to spend money over mobiles

Ive had it for about 4 months now, its quite good, though problem is if you load up a lot of MP3's (in my case since i use it as my player) the motherboard usually slows down or turns off.. but i had it replaced and it works fine now. :) battery is good for music playin. you just have to put it on powersave mode. I dont use it much for calls thats why im able to utilize the battery well.

yah battery is kinda below the average.. I wish the battery stays a little longer so that i can utilize all its features.. Very sad for a phone with a lot of features.. Thank God Samsung is not like this.. Listen or watch a full movie with the star and it will barely affect the battery, but with this, kinda poor battery..

I'm happy to know that the cookie is still on demand.. Up to now there's still many people buying this, and the comments here are still flowing.. Wow, it's been almost one year since i had this phone.. Well i eventually dispose it after a few months buying it.. Because i switch to htc touch viva..
What i can say on the cookie based on my experience using it is,
IF YOU WANT A PHONE TO SHOW OFF TO YOUR FRIENDS THAT LOOKS LIKE AN EXPENSIVE ONE BUT IN REALITY, IT DOESN'T.. haha! =D THEN GO AHEAD, BUY THIS.. IT'S VERY EASY TO USE TOO..

im planning to buy this unit LG KP500, is this worthy to buy? i want to know if this unit is good and very user friendly. even if tis not a 3g. pls can anyone tell me the advantages and the dis advantage of this phone. thank you so much.

i meant to say navigate to brightness not backlight my bad, so:
blue button>settings>screensettings>brightness

if u want the battery to last much longer, reduce the screen brightness. Most of the battery power is drained from the lcd backlight. to do so navigate to the following:
blue button>settings>screensettings>backlight
Reduce to what ever value u want. 20% being the lowest. I use mine at 20% and my phone can last about 3-4 days with short calls and picture browsing. Keep in mind that it will be harder to see the info on the screen in direct sunlight at such low screen brightness.

My sister owns a samsung star. its okay in a way...uhhmm but upon exploring it for a day...I realized the slight similarity of functions with a few add-ons....but usabilty-wise...I would still rather go for my lg cookie. The UI for samsung star is not that impressive. The battery last for 2 days according to my sister. She bought it for Php 9,700 with 2 gb external memory in megamall.

Yes, samsung star wifi is already on the asian market and soon on the Philippine market.. It would be retailed slightly higher than the current samsung star S5233.. But let's see if it's worth it.. Despite of it's wifi capability..
