I want a phone for internet surfing..
1) Does cookie support opera mini browser ?
2) Do I need to do any settings after I install opera or does it work just after the opera is istalled ?
3) Is there any touch screen version for opera or the normal ver4.2 will work ?
Someone pls reply, My purchase depends on ur reply.

Rux, 03 May 2009I got my lgkp500 yesterday and so forth i`m okay with it. t... moreedge is just a signal higher than gprs signal. so if you will use internet in your phone, you should be charge accordingly, i have no idea why you had not been charge, lucky for you i guess

yan, 03 May 2009im concerned about my memory card...because i saw an icon i... morego to settings/phone settings/memory mangaer/primary storage then choose External memory. Then all files you will recieve via bluetooth will go to designated folders in your memory card

sana, 02 May 2009thanks!! i ve transfered my all pics just bcoz of u, i use... morewelcome, it was LG's decision to make it like that, so we cannot do something about it, why not make a shorcut of your memory card in the multitasking menu, by that way you can easily access your files, photos, videos music and others. cheers!!

simply, this phone is aimed at a particular demographic. if you think you do not belong to that demographic, look another way. we should be commending lg for making the touchscreen technology available to wider range of economic classes. definitely, this phone is worth it's price, and some more.

Hello! I bought my Cookie last Tuesday at the Vodaphone store at Robinson's Ermita for only 10k [on a cash basis]. I think this is the best deal around in Metro Manila because most other stores sell the unit for at least 11k. Plus, it also comes with a free 1-GB micro SD card [though I'll be replacing it with another one with more memory].
So far, I've been really satisfied with its performance. Actually, the review sort of says it all. Though it's probably the cheapest touchscreen phone around, it doesn't sacrifice good quality, performance, and even style. I really think this phone is just right for me, a 16-year old incoming college student. It's a really cool phone. It may not have an excellent camera, wi-fi, or 3G capabilities, but it's definitely worth my money.
I'd also like to share that typing is surprisingly easy for me with my Cookie. Though I have considerably big fingers, I'm still able to use the virtual QWERTY keyboard accurately without the use of the stylus. I'm also very impressed with its excellent signal reception, especially since my previous phone was a Motorola ROKR E8 [whose signal reception is really, really... uh, frustrating. Haha]
Well, that's all I have to say. I hope I helped some of you aspiring Cookie-owners make up your mind. :D

im concerned about my memory card...because i saw an icon in my screen that it tells "memory enable to use"..and i dont know how to save the mp3 music in my memory if i send it via bluetooth...is there anyone who can help me...thanks a lot....

I got my lgkp500 yesterday and so forth i`m okay with it. the batery seems fine to me, i`ve listened to musik like 4 or 5 hours and it`s still full, as long as i see.
well.. question. is EDGE free?
i navigated on the internet for .. like.. 20 minutes and my credit is unchanged..
oh and the price i paid for the phone was.. 70 euro.. that`s like 90$
is it ok?
