So far, the LG Cookie is the best phone I ever had. It has a very responsive touch screen. Since I am from the Philippines, T9 is somehow useless yet I can still type my messages pretty fast... With the problems with battery life, i had it the first week but now, it can stay as long as 3 days with all the videos and pics... The only problem is, I can't see the keypad in extreme light so i have to cover it up with my hands so that i can type in... Very minor...
My parents asked me why I chose LG since it was never heard as a good mobile phone manufacturer compared to the (overly exposed) Nokia, SE and Motorola. It was a worthy risk to far... Nice work LG!!!

I read a lot of reviews on other sites too which said the phone hangs often and battery life is poor, is that true? Would you suggest buying this over HTC Touch Viva ?

leo, 28 Apr 2009my cookie battery last nt more thn a day withn normal usage... morewith reguards to your battrie life when you first received the fone you shud use it till it died then charged for 14hours and it musnt be used for that time, to try and improve it now u gota use it till it dies and charge for 4hours and keep doing this for a month or so

texting on this phone, isnt hard... i text sometimes without using the stylus, just my fingers... hihihi... just be sure ur hands are not sweaty and it fits on the squares on the screen... ^^ and the sensitivity of the screen is so great..
when my brother saw my LG cookie, he gets jelous and wants to buy it also... and the games have very nice... also it has great sound... the prob is the camera of the phone, sometimes not very clear... but thats ok because not all the time its like that... weeee... all in all, i love my cookie very much... and it has a very low price... i bought mine at makati for 10,800php... ^^

I love the phone I just got it a last week and the features are all great. It's beautiful too in appearnce. I've read here that it hangs. In my experience I haven't encountered that problem and I haven't encountered any problems so far. :-)

i love my kp500 its a cool phone to have the only disappointment was that i couldnt get the the pink colour in south africa but everything is wonderful and the price is great for a fone in its range. i just dig my fone lg kp 500 is the way to go. go check out the lg showroom with all the latest lg gergets. iam thinking for my new apartment every electronic will be lg cause lg has steped up to their game and its in a class of its own. well done iam proud of all their products... and trust me guys iam not getting paid to say this but iam impressed!!!!

Am thinking of getting this phone, but I've noticed a lot of people are saying it freezes all the time. Is this true? And what can be done about it if it is?

I am planning to buy this phone. Can someone tell me how good is the camera and sound output? Overall how is the speed bcoz I read at many places that the phone is very slow at times and hangs a bit. I also heard the phone crashes many times and people have had problems getting it started again, is that true?
I was considering this or the HTC Touch VIVA, which is better?
Any idea where it is cheapest to get this phone in Mumbai, India?
