Buy the original one so you can never have some problems. After almost a year, mine is still working and hadn't given me any problems at all.

This is the worst phone i ever had in MY LIFE
I STRONGLY RECOMMEND EVERYONE NOT TO PURCHASE LG KP500 AS IT IS THE WORST PHONE EVER MANUFACTURED BY LG WITH HELL LOT OF PROBLEMS.
I got this phone in 2008 and within one week i had to exchange the phone as there was some problem with the PCB as i was not able to hear songs at all, later within 11 months touch screen was not working hence i had to book the phone for repairs and after getting the phone repaired under warranty it worked fine for another 12 months and now again the touch screen is not working at all.

After using it for a year and 6 months I have to say its a very good phone. But there is only one big problem and that is its unabillity to play youtube videos. I have installed bolt browser as some users had suggested but it play videos in a very little image and without sound. I did whatever I could but the problem still exists.is there any solution?

Anyone who has use this phone please tell me, how long lasting is the phone's battery life and also, does it download and dis 3D games and Apps? will Opera Mini 6.0 or 6.1 work well on it? I'm planning to get this phone soonest.

i am Africa Ghana and this handset works well for me and my friends at Meridian pre-university kumasi campus so yes i love this phone.i have never use such a phone before

lg kp500 is not good phone it wont support any videos player ang very slow gprs but one thing is good ruf and tough phone thatsa all onthing else

You can change the locking time in the system settings I think that the max is 1 minuite hope that helps.

the LG KP500 is ok but definitive not recommended for net use or games. people, this isn't an android, nor is it a iphone. it takes forever to get pic messages and the camcorder options stop working. i would not recommend it
