OS is a bit slow. I suggest that you find out whether a touchscreen phone (no keyboard) is the one for you because it is not text friendly. Laptop crashed only once while running LG PC suite within first 2 weeks of purchase. Protector film slows down touchscreen reaction. Call quality is excellent. Java very compatible with phone. Plays music with excellent sound. Overall 6.5/10 I am not jumping up and down over it.

I mean its better than some of those higher in price. For those who wish to know if IM java applications work, yes they do. I have ebuddy, mig33, nimbuzz, UCWEB, teashark and opera mini. Using any of there 3 browsers is a delight on the phone. I will answer questions if im asked. Peace

I took a risk, sold my Nokia e63 that is just a month old and bought this phone. I have not spent so much time in a day with any phone as i have been with this phone since i bought it 3 day ago. Let everyone buy this phone, its amazing. Better than some of the phones twice higher than it. Pls enjoy.

I have had my LG COOKIE for a week now and all I can say is WAHAY. If you read reviews before you decide to buy, don't be fooled. Most of these so called reviewers are spoiled rotten on the top of the range tech, and will be comparing the phone to top of the range gear like the renoire or the iphone. This phone gives Atomic bang for your bucks, ok so the camera doesn't have auto focus or zoom, but it is not designed as a camera phone. The memory expansion slot (Micro sd) more than makes up for the fact that you only get 48Mb onboard memory. With the PC suite cd that comes in the kit you can load any photo's you want onto the camera from your PC, and if you visit www.zedge.com you will have access to more wallpapers, sms sounds, ring tones or other apps than you can wave a stick at, just download them to your PC and then use the PC suite to upload them to your phone. All in all a great package for those on a budget, or for those that want a touch phone but don't think they would be inclined to use all the features available on a top of the range model.

what's this? LG kp500 cookie 200 euros while the LG kp501 cookie pink version is only 120...?... the same features and specs only difference are the exterior design and the color..
