Thanks for the feedback. I havent bought the phone yet because there is no LG service here in Davao City and I might experience the restart bug.
1.) What do you mean of "Phone updates"? Do you mean all of the features listed are already implemented in KP500AT_V10c +24?
2.) Or is it just a wish list?
3.) Is it true that KP500AT_V10c +24 implements the QWERTY landscape keyboard in every every text input-able fields? If yes, I'll search the local stores for a unit that can do this.

OK I've sent that to LG, hope they update it. Anyways I think this is a great phone. for its price tag. If compared to the first gen iPhone (locked) I think this is much better, yeah I know the UI is not as advance and there's the omission of the wifi. But still it can do so many things the iPhone can't video record and copy&paste anyone? =) In my VERY honest opinion with its UI, touch capabilities, sleekness, PRICE, this phone is a very good buy.

i beg to disagree, i had an iphone and cookie but i love the cookie better than d i phone. never had a prob w/ cookie. love it, very light and thin. user friendly, though ur right it is just basic touch phone but rating it according to its price i gave it 10/10! cool. peace. lol... :p

Good Day!
I've listed some bugs and things that can be upgraded to the phone KP500.
Version KP500AT_V10c +24
Bugs:
While on widget locked mode, (open widget selection and in the lower left there is an icon red (locked), green (unlocked)) when you shake the phone it still rearrange the widgets, also goes to the speed dial screen.
In the video playback landscape mode, when you lock the phone (using hardware lock) the lock icon in the screen (upper right) then unlock it the icon doesn’t disappear.
In Muvee studio settings (save location, music type) doesn’t save after you exit.
In editing mode, when you try to highlight text (for copy, cut) the dragging downward motion registers as a drag up. (eg. If you’re trying to copy something from top to bottom, the screen moves upwards.)
Mp4 sound gain table (it’s always too loud even on volume 1)
Phone updates:
More widgets
More Favourite Apps (specific items). eg. game, simcard menu, brightness setting etc.
Video recording frame rate from 7fps to 15fps and higher bitrates (don’t know if the processor can handle this)
Full screen playback of videos
Bigger caller Id picture, and calling animation (should be a kp500)
Landscape keyboard implementation in every text input-able fields (search contact, create contact, filenames, java apps, etc.)
More landscape features (landscape menus, landscape contact search(if your already in landscape mode in messaging why search in upright form?))
Upright gallery mode and a folder based gallery mode
Voice commands, you have it on your watch phone right?
A full html browser
(and I'm also residing in the Philippines)
Please don't buy this phone('coz I don't want everyone to have it (I want the exclusivity) hehe joke)

Just you wait, LG's are full of glitches and bugs, you will start to see it after you've had it for a while.
And better than the iPhone? LOL I don't think so. No 3G, no OS. What makes the iPhone what it is are it's great operating system, fast internet browsing, overall great web experience and the downloadable applications and games. This phone comes no where near the iPhone's greatness. You obviously have never used an iPhone but I can guarentee you if you did you would see how it beats this phone by far.

My phone came in yesterday. The best phone i ever bought. Way better than the i phone or the g1. The phones features are excellent. The 2g internet is excellent. The speakers are really loud. And the games are fun. The keyboard for messaging is the best thing about the phone. Also the phone is not as big as the i phone so i like that.

for how much it costs you cant really go wrong. very decent and smart lil touch phone, which can live up to the reputation of its bigger brothers. the touch screen can be estatic at times but thats only after constant use.
the camera is decent as well for a 3mp.
feature packed as well, well worth its money

3questions, i need answers badly pleeease?
1. SORTING FILES- is there a way of sorting files (pics&vids) to a folder, either DRAG&DROP or should it be done via PC? or is there a another way?
2. SITE FOR FREE GAMES- is there a site that users in the Phils can download FREE GAMES?
3. ACCESSORIES- where in Manila/Makati/LasPinas/Muntinlupa area can we buy SILICON CASE &other accessories for the cookie?

Why do people keep comparing this phone to phones that cost twice if not three times as much?? Its price is cheap after considering which features to omit - 3g wifi etc.....some find this immposible to comprehend but hey...its a bleeding phone not a lifesaving cure for a terminal illness!!!

Hi, maraming pinoy here I think, hehehe.
Affordable? For me yes, I got it for Php11,500 bundled with the 1 GB external memory. My wife is using it, its my advance valentines gift for her.
Ok naman siya? Ok na ok, 100%.
User friendly? Sobra, 100% on this too.
Responsive or laggy? I'll be straight, yes its a bit laggy on some activities. How laggy??? Very little, its not hard to ignore it. I don't mind it myself. It's like 10% of the lag that I get from my dad's *73 (if you know what I mean).

My wife's cookie came with the 1 GB external memory bundled with it, I think she's fine with the 1 GB considering her previous cellphone was a Samsung U100.

It's a good buy actually; if you disregard the trouble peepz have to go through to update their firm. Fortunately, I didn't have the same problem. So, it was really a good device since I received it.
BTW, to those who provided the games: Thanks. I installed some on my cookie. Very neat.
