Mate,WM is Windows Mobile..
dis phone has gud battery life..almost 3 days for moderate user like me..
emm..anybody know what max size of micro SD card it can support?

I can't send SMS's beaucouse LG ks20 can't, i quote: 'can't recognise number or account' or something like this... help me (sorry about miss speling the words, i'm not good at english)

What is WM? I'm confusing when i read all the opinions... Many of then r talking bout WM. What is WM anyway?

I just bought the phone. After I saw all the comments, I came to some conclusion.
My phone dont hang, the battery works fine & yes its kinda slow,you want to know why? Coz I compare it with my 4 GB RAM, AMD64 X2 5000 PC. Its just a phone guys, not a super computer. Get with it, you want to have super computer try USD 1500 stuff not USD 300 stuff. It Hangs alot coz you put alot of programs inside it, ad of course the more you run program the more the processor works the faster its going to dry you battery out. Regularly stop the program running from your memory settings, it'll keep your device performance.

cooking your own rom requires more learning. all the materials are in the website.

LG stands way behind in its built quality, the same is revealed here too. I had this phone for almost 4 months. If you say that its worthy for your money you invest, please wait, have a quick review, this phone has only 128mb ram, when running some 3rd party programs like opera, call firewall, the phone really starts working like win xp in and old pc with 256mb ram. Try keep away from LG high end phones but it has some very good medium sector entry phones like 195, 220, 199 etc with a very matured phone os, but the overall physical built quality of these too are way below average

Hi. Anyone knows if the 3.5mm jack audio adapters available for other LG phones (e.g. LG Chocolate) can be used with the KS20? The connectors seem pretty much the same but I'm not sure 100% that it would work.
I would like to buy a shorter adapter as the one that comes with the phone + the earphones' cable seems too much cable to carry...

Shut off your phone first, then hold down the green call key, volume down on the left side of the phone and then power on the device while holding the earlier 2 buttons until you see something on the screen.

Does anyone know why my KS20 always hang??
Another problem is when there is incoming sms it will hang and after restart the phone, the sms gone.

bloody fantastic machine.
very light and solid with perfect finish and great design.
even audio quality is great when used with a decent set of earphones.
however the stock rom is a complete trash, becomes unusable after 2 minutes of usage.
I have built my own custom rom and it works like a charm.
excellent phone for an mid-expert users who knows how to flash the phone with a new rom.

The build-in touch keyboard is also very small and this make messaging very difficult.
A: use other 3rd party software to magnified the keyboard,like "tap tap","SPB","ExInput".my lg key is large enough to use finger.

Q:how can a phone with that kind of feature can be support with that kind of battery?
A: it's a PDA phone, it's normal on PDA phone.so set u'r power saving at decent performance.set u'r backlight on 1 minute, connection only when u need it.
Q:Can u help me out with the bluetooth for handfree? i hardly paired my lg wif my mini clip 2. How come? even the guy sell me the handfree hardly setup .
A: setting -> bluetooth ->bluetooth manager -> actine connection -> menu -> paired device (pair u'r bluettoh HF with u'r phone)

Stay away from this phone:
1. outgoing call always need to dial twice A: not true!
2. phone is on but when people call the phone doesn't ring A: not true!
3. showing text msg not sent but in fact has been sent need to reset the phone then will show sent Q:not true!
4. touch screen not sensitive : not true!
5. 400Mhz processor but runs slower then a 200Mhz processor HTC : have u compare it?
6. sound cracks at high volume A: true!
Q: How can I exit from an application???
A: depend on the program it stored in u'r RAM, so many programs requred u to shutdoen manually.
Q: Dhananjay can u plz let me inform about its sound quality, wifi n GPRS accessibility?
A: sound 6.5 to 10, wifi haven't try it yet, GPRS good, it will change to GPRS,EDGE and UMTS automatically.

just bought it..
let see..
this phone has a great featured in it.
but 1st impression is:
slim
i like the black solid body
responsive touch screen
after try and error the menu it was great
but the stylus is damn hard to pull
the speaker is not something that u can proud of..it really have no power at all.even my old S45 can be louder than that.when u max the volume,than u get a breakable sound.hope they upgrade on their speaker hardware.
camera is good,but the bluetooth connection is hard to use..still can't figure it out how to connect my lg with my comp bluetooth.it keeps fail identify "searching services".
and sadly,it seems that it can not customize the sms using mp3 ring tone,only default ring in it.
but overall,it's a decent phone with the great future on it's price.
btw i was succeded to install wisbar advance and wisbar advance desktop, wish i can intall full iphone themes in it in a weeks.
