this phone is probably the best in terms of design and everything
but you people saying its great and all obviosuly dont own it, or have not owned it long enough
it freezes all the time, the calls suck (just wait and see)
its great to be honest jus only if the INSIDE was better

This cellphone is totally awesome a total mxit phone by the way I have the latest version of Mxit...Its the pefect mxit phone they dont call it the chatterbox for nothing

Hi,I've had this phone 2 weeks..I'm from S.A...I luv it..a few comments for those who struggle or have questions bout it..
It does take mxit, not the 5.8.2 but 5.7.2 version..you will get the message" Failed to initialize the midlet" if you downloaded the first verion..don't download the version they prompt you to download when mxit identify your phone as LG KS360..if u have memory card , remove from phone before download..
There is one socket for the USB cable , earphones and charger. When u connect the phone with your pc , you'll find 2 drivers..the Kingston one is your memory card..if you already have music on it , you'll find it under the music folder under Kingston..copy and paste it under the sound folder also under Kingston ..I rather use as much of the memory card ,to save the only 15 Mb of the phone ..if its not under the sound folder , you wont be able to play it on the mp3 player..Sound via the earphones on the mp3 player and radio is very good ! one can set ones own mp3 as a ring , ID ring or message tone..go to : My files>external mem>sounds..scroll to the desired song>options>set as..remember the ringing volume can be set on side of the phone..
About the camera and video cam ..neither can zoom ..if you want the best quality , remember to change to the highest resolution and quality..I set the cam and video cam to save to memory card..if you remove card , remember to set it again as it will save it to phone memory as default when you insert it again. The camera does not auto focus. Pics are good in sufficient light..don't expect wonders indoors or in low light..it does not have a flash.The video cam is sufficient , but slow and basic.
The QWERTY keybord works well , though it takes time to get used to..specially the orange number keys on the left..the * # and 0 is not where it is located at a ' normal' phone's keypad..
In a nut shell, the phone is great for the price you can get it..it is something different..strong points are MP3 player , radio and messaging (also threaded view) and value for money..weak points are video cam and not so good battery life ..try the power save function to prolong the life..phone is about flat not long after the last bar on battery indicator..takes bout 4hrs to charge fully..
By the way I dropped it on paving by accident..the screen went blank and I thought thats it..gonners..but I was delighted when I just switched it on and it worked 100 % again..not even a scratch!
So all of you owning one , enjoy it ! I'm very satisfied ;-)

Is there any problems with the switching to landscape function of this fone when using mxit or opera mini? And does this fone have a flash player installed?

This phone is soooo cool. I saw it on a magazine and i've been tinking about it ever since. Its just dat i cannot afford it. Man, LG is really working hard. I just wish i can receive a miracle from a Godsent person and the person shuld just give me this phone... Waoooh, If you are the angel, u can find me on facebook. Thanx alot....

Can i use my lgks360 as a bluetooth modem? It works fine through usb but i think using bluetooth is easier

I bought this phone on 14th January 2009. I started having problems with it at the beginning of March. When I would call people, they wouldn't be able to hear me at all, and I can't transfer files via the USB anymore. Phones4u sent it away for repair, got it back a week later. I had a phonecall that same day and the guy said I sounded "muffled". Have they fixed the problem? More like reset the factory settings than actually replaced any of the hardware.
If you want a cheap, good looking phone, then by all means, purchase this one. If you're like me, and want something that will last and is durable, go for a different brand such as Sony Ericsson. I've had a Z520i for almost 3 years now, and it's always been my back up phone for when this one and my old Samsung J600 went wrong. I should've just stuck with it!

RIP, 05 Apr 2009I think you'd better ask yourself first if you want a camer... moreyea but i like the fact that lg ks 360 has a larger screen and that it has a cool design and so i think that i'm going to buy lg ks 360 just plese can somebody tell me what is the price of this phone

I saw in youtube that this phone has LiveSquare feature that allows you to call or sms from shortcut on avatar wallpaper but the one i bought doesn't have it. Does anybody know how can i get it?
One more thing, i can't sign in ebuddy (java). It's said i have to allow java app from the network setting but i can't configure any thing. can anybody help?
