whhhattttt!!!!!!!! globe gave you the lgpc instaler and a headset?? while me i just got the phone, battery, data cable and the manual.. why thats UNFAIR!!!!! i better complain to globe!!!!! waahhh unfair!!!

I bought one of this from Globe, it's a good phone. But what really sucks is the java game compatibility, you cant play java games downloaded from globe. And the rates of the internet is 0.15/kb, thats expensive. And i havent tried using this as a modem, i got a pc suite but it requires a call number, i dont know what to do with it. Got anything in mind on how i use this as a modem using globe? tnx

jic you haven't figure network settings here it is...
1. Activate 3G/GPRS settings via OTA
text "SET LGKU250" SEND TO 211
2. if ur using it as a modem config is
Country: Others
Network: Others
Call Type: either 3G or GPRS
Profile: Smart
APN: internet
Call*99***1#
User name & password - leave as blank

My LG phone shuts down and there's no way of starting it up unless the battery is removed.
To all those having problems browsing the internet using the phone try installing opera mini on your phones. It automatically configures the settings, as long as access points are properly defined. It displays web pages fast and it has a mouse pointer.
Just type mini.opera.com/beta into the goto address and click on the download opera mini tab.

2GB memeory card works fine. unlike nokia, I filled the 2GB memcard to the brim and it doesn't hang.

2Gb SD is available, I guess. Officially they are saying that the maximum capacity of SD is 2Gb.

Its a great phone, but the headset are hard to find, you can buy it only to the LG headquarters at Pasig. Games comptible giving me a problem.

posted this comment using my LG KU250 as modem, giving me 460.8 kbps using just the GPRS connection as my location is not 3G Covered (Smart ang USIM ko).
To those encountering connections: Go to menu/connectivity/usb connection then choose data service before using your phone as a modem.

Hi guys!
i just got this phone thru Globe's plan 800... the package included an LG PC suite cd installer, data cable, charger, headset, warranty card, and a manual...
every feature in this phone is great although i havent tried using it as a modem...
my only problem is...
when i got this phone, the GLobe rep told me not to use an sd card with capacity that is more than 128mb... she said the phone will freeze or mag-ha-"hang". i was planning to get a 2gb MicroSD for it... i dont wanna waste money so, is it really possible use a 2gb card? does it really work?

To Any SMART User: Were you able to try connecting ur pc to the internet via this fone? Just wana know. Id like to buy this fone, but need more info. I've got a laptop, and i'm using k550 to connect to the internet, but i can only get as fast as 115kbps data rate, so i'm thinking of grabbing a 3g fone to have a faster connection similar to broadbands. Its a great thng to have coz i can connect to the internet wthout scouting the metro jungle in search of Wifi Signals.
